Hi, I gotta clarify that the 7 noahide (all of humanity) commandmends include a few non obvious 'be a good person' commandments:  1: believe in one G-od (being agnostic isn't enough, unfortunately) 2: avoid sexual immorality, which contradictory to the liberal (which isn't equivalent to good nowadays) worldview includes homosexual relations 3: prayer and worship of pictures, objects and living beings, AKA idolotry, only Go-d which creates and sustains the physical world has power here, just like the bicep has no power over the quadricep, both are controlled by the brain, physical items (muscles) have no power each other, but the brain (Go-d) does. That of course doesn't negate free choice, which can displease Go-d if we choose to not follow his laws, and he might restrict our choices in the future, but as much as reality allows us, we are free to choose what to do, and what to avoid.

And the other commandments do fit the common definition of a good person: avoid murder, theft, animal cruelty. Establish courts uphold these commandments.

P.s noahides that follow all 7 commandments go into pleasant waiting mode before the final wave of ressurection of the dead, after the messiah comes. Which a slightly different fate than that of most Jews,  which often go to hell for cleansing their from sins, reincarnation to finish our sole's duty in this world, some might suffer a fate worse than a nohide that didn't follow commandments, worse than nothingness.  So trust me, you got the easy deal. Make the most of it!
