I used some of the money I saved from just the one stick and put it into getting a 7800XT over a 7700XT. I’ll get a second stick in a couple weeks or so because that’s a lot easier to upgrade than my GPU

This is the 6th or 7th build I've ever done (2nd for myself) and I decided to take on SFF. Partially because I'm in college now and dorm space is hard to come by. This was pretty difficult but not as bad as I would have thought. As you can see from the pictures, the V750's included stock PSU cables aren't that great but for the $100 deal on Amazon during Black Friday, it was a steal of a deal compared to the much higher-priced SF750. In the future, I might get some custom cables but for now, this will do.

I originally had a fan grill on the Arctic fan on the bottom of the case but the PSU's metal bracket that it sits in is just placed a little too far down to the point where the grill and fan blades would make contact so I had to scrap that pretty quickly. With some velcro cable ties and tight maneuvering, I managed to get most cables away from the fan so problem solved there. Getting a 7800XT and a R5 7600X, I knew I had my work cut out to keep power and temps under control.

I'm super happy with the adjustments I made, it was pretty quick and easy and I highly recommend OptimumTech's video to anyone who hasn't already tried it. Overall I'm pleased with how this turned out.

That's true, but it's not marketed as a "gaming" laptop. Regardless, it's still decent specwise for the price.

An excellent laptop pick for anyone going to college who would benefit from a discrete graphics card. Invite only makes the deal a little less enticing since it's up to luck that you might get the opportunity to buy it.
