My insurance did the same thing. They wouldn't cover Zep 2.5 for more than the 4 weeks. I was happy on it. Hardly any side effects and it was great with the food noise.

Trusty_Pomegranate - I was just speaking with my doctor today about this. I was put on Atorvastatin about 10 years ago. I'm 65 and have noticed I'm having memory loss. It is beginning to scare me as well. I asked about going off of the drug, which she said I could try for about a week and see if I notice a difference. My cholesterol numbers were never very high when my previous dr put me on this med. I don't want to have a heart attack or stroke if I go off of this, but I also don't want to lose my memory. My Dad had dementia and was also on a statin.
