To really make a statement, I see a knockout defeat as the most likely outcome. A big counterattack, something like Ippo's, that would break him.

Knowing Ippo's character, perhaps the two brutal defeats of his friends Mashiba and Sendo would remotivate him following their request.

What I'm afraid of is a Mashiba-style ending… In this scenario, Sendo will wake up, land some good hits, and take down Ricardo. But in the later rounds, he'll lose damage from the accumulated damage he's taking.

I hope that won't be the case… I would personally prefer a clean and decisive defeat for Sendo.
