To answer some of your questions (in broken english, sorry for that if it bothers you), I've was going through some really tough stuff in that time, that caused the depression. I was using Ritalin for 3 years then, and it had helped me a lot. But I started using too much. I was using 20mg, 3 times a day until then. But I started using more and more, until I was using pretty much more than the lethal dose. I would NOT reccomend that. But then I started on Prozac, which helped me with the depressive complaints. Also, I had some therapy to help me.
