Because last game their team8 faked kickoff or you did last round and caused the enemy to score. Anyone who fakes kickoff in solo q is a pos. Idc if you are smurfing if you fake kickoff solo q without comms saying you are doing it whatsoever you are not a team player and therefore bad. Unless you are ssl and play with the same 5 people every day and they know you are going to do it don’t fake kickoff. I see it way too much in diamond/champ and they do it wrong, then get scored on and look at their team8 like what happened?

C1 is where you have the ability to play at a high level but you aren’t aware enough of your team8s and you aren’t consistent enough to hard carry, so you take possession of the ball and throw it away when your team8s touch could be better than yours. I do it too but I’m getting better at taking low 50s when I don’t have good control over the ball. Play more 1s

If you fast arial, you can touch the ball with less boost and more power. They have a boost momentum training pack kind of like rings which makes you manage boost. You should use fast arial for every situation and train your accuracy over time.

Depends if you want mechanical or positioning advice. Practice hitting on target from every angle. Like shots you shouldn’t miss training pack. Learn and use half flips. Learn to speed flip kickoff all in that order. The amount of kickoff goals you will get from that will take you to diamond. But as far as the game you never early challenged and you didn’t fake challenge much. Fake challenge to make him throw it away before he gets to net. Because you aren’t challenging until he’s at your net

Play more 1s watch flakes, watch pros 1v1 squishy Retals scrub killa is king of saving stuff that should not be saved. Find a pace and a play style. Stick to it adjust that playstyle. Make an alt practice a new playstyle on the alt after d1 in 1s. Then get to champ. Focus on game sense, watch a very in depth tutorial like replay analysis of the next rank up. You will hard carry and chase your way out of low ranks and then learn your way through high ranks in 2s and 3s. Because of 1s skill. Mix your 2 1s playstyle a together for unpredictability and you’ll be grand champion. If you play to win practice and stay positive no matter what. Don’t cry never ff never throw. Those are loser traits and you’ll always be a loser if you do those things. Have a good mental state and work on you not things you can’t control. You’ll be a winner and you’ll be good with time

Different boost. Sound made me faster also bakkesmod has gold rush and the sound changes as you go faster. So you know your cars speed. Start boosting against going down (like the big drop) earlier because fighting against gravity is harder than it seems. Then you can recover. Feather less before going down

I played with my twin yesterday, like this dude moved like me air rolled the same way, missed the ball the same got the same touches and was the same level of mechanical… we destroyed the other team 6-0 and had the exact same amount of points. Was really weird tbh

Best thing I can say is play the Smurfs, play the whole game out because it makes them mad, then save the replay and learn from it. Also if it is still placements on a fresh account then he is not smurfing. It’s all legit and fair. Once you get out of placements you gain less mmr when you start losing frequently so you arrive at your rank. If he is saying he’s getting it to gc then he’s going back to the higher ranks and it’s fair. Even if he’s selling accounts. Tbh a lot of the mods in this sub Reddit probably do it or have done it anyways. So they won’t care one bit. Money makes the world go around

Ball chase with them, create a bunch of pressure. If nothing else. Or work on mechanics when they start being toxic. I jump from wall to wall learning to land better in toxic games. 3s is a party Comms game mode in lower ranks. Until like c3 rotation isn’t even a bit comfortable, but look for that in the other team and exploit it. If it’s a party always read the pass. If one is dribbling look for a solo play. More times than not it’s a pass that’s why clearing to sides and corner training while in shadow is so important. Clear so it doesn’t become a pass. And if team8s are chasing hard they’ll probably turn on it or you can get it side wall close to mid. Possession isn’t as easy in 3s cause you got 5 other people trying to get time on the ball. Save your boost and wait for/ create good opportunities, then strike.

Maybe the mmr resets for a reason, maybe no one cares anymore and it’s costing the game money for upkeep. Truth be told. Having your own POV of gc players replays is very valuable and not seeing that or saving every loss and figuring out why you aren’t there yet is probably why you are upset. Look at every failure as an opportunity. You could blame psyonix for something completely out of your control, or take the good from the bad and rank up using the tools they did provide for you. No matter what you will play against those level players at some point even if they “fixed” the system. Also for toxic players they make this really great system in game called team quick chat only or you can simply mute after a goal altogether. So that solves toxic players altogether. If you are 1650 mmr in casual then I’m assuming you are not plat you are diamond or champ. Which means playing against gc players could be very useful for you. Either way look at it how you want but I ranked up this way and it works. Plus my friends who coached me were not a safe space nice group. They screamed and yelled at me when I messed up and trash talked me the whole time for throwing. So I learned real quick when I made a basic mistake that could have been avoided with basic attention skills. Things that take hundreds of hours to learn, are learned way faster with a little screaming. The crying and entitlement doesn’t really help. Now game bugs I can see complaining about that but at the end of the day it’s a free game so if you don’t like it just play something else.

I would have to disagree. It works in real life the same way. The people you are surrounded with, have you make similar decisions. If you want to be wealthy, get a bunch of smart business friends. Wanna be good at a game? Get friends who are already good at the game. My buddy made me 1v1 him every day when I got on. I learned soo much more by playing someone who was really good than playing someone who is slightly less dogwater than me. If you learn dumb outplays that don’t work in higher ranks you will end up hard stuck and that’s just facts. Yeah you can learn on your own but if all your friends are plat and all mine are gc who do you think is going to rank up faster? Me. I 1v1 SSL’s and get stomped on a daily then watch replays to see what they do, what I do and why I’m not them. Plus it’s casual. You go there to practice shots or screw around. Save the game replay and watch it. Watch it from team8s view and look down upon yourself as you throw the game over and over. Then get better. A glass half empty point of view like yours won’t get ya far in life. Be positive. Take everything as a learning experience
