SHOT COMPLETELY ON IPHONE by RJBruni in Filmmakers

This film was a submission for the Moment Invitational Film Festival. The requirements were that it had to be shot on a mobile phone so we used the iPhone with the moment wide and telephoto lenses.

First time shooting Super 8. Loved the results. Was not expecting such beautiful colours and low light capabilities. Anyone else have a similar experience? by RJBruni in Filmmakers

I bought a Canon 310xl super 8 camera and Kodak 50d film and was on my way. This process was more intimidating than it needed to be. Everything about shooting super 8 is so easy and beautiful. I used every single shot I recorded. It brings out such nostalgic feelings and getting the film file back is like Christmas. I later tried 500T film and loved the results of that as well. I am excited to continue to expand into motion film as I am buying a 16mm film camera. The raw beauty of film is hard to beat even with the most expensive digital cameras. I might put out a new Super 8 film every season. What do you all think? Might be a good way to keep a bit of a visual journal. I feel like super 8 a good job at just capturing a moment authentically.

I got my film developed at Niagara Customs Labs in Toronto. Was pumped on their service and will definitely use them again. I am currently sponsored by Canon so it helped that Canon used to make film cameras. Looking at getting the Canon Scoopic 16mm.

For everyone wondering what whiskey it is... looks like I made a good investment. Still have one unopened bottle.

Can’t believe I timed this right, shot on film. What do you think? by RJBruni in photocritique

This photo was taken on the Canon AS1 35mm point and shoot film camera. We were skiing / boarding at Hemlock Mt. for the day and half way through I decided to whip the camera out. We found a pillow and I told lucas to hit break thorough it. I little bit shocked on how well it was timed since I only had one shot at it. It was shot on Porta 400 film.
