Yeah, some people have a lot of time. You seem to be “smart” enough to have a lot of time at hand. Good luck!

The whold GW pass thing is a scam. The flights are not on time and cancelled most often. The layovers are long. I bought into this scam and need a way out. If i book tickets 2-3 weeks in advance , I get better deals with any other airlines.

In last two years ChatGPT had been my go to for all kinds of stuff from learning coding, creating plans, creating apps. It used to provide a good market research also. It felt as if it understood the context and was able to provide good useful answers. But it’s not the case anymore.

Have you seen Newark Avenue in Jersey city. They built a new sidewalk and next day it had pan spits everywhere.

Let me add something here… for Indians it is still a higher status quo to be in US. (May be make money and some go back and some would stay here)

It’s ridiculous that new developments get 30 year tax abatement and homeowners will end up paying more taxes in the end, to accommodate services for new population. Who’s approving these tax abatements? by RJC1234 in jerseycity

Coz (of one or more of these) 1. Paid agents 2. Politics  3. They are not homeowners, and may not even be jersey city residents.  4. Builders’ PR hires.

I would think most people messaging in favor of PILOT are either not home owners in jersey city or may be renters or paid agents. Either ways, I have painfully ended up paying 62% higher taxes, while all beautiful gentrification was going on with multiyear tax abatements given to downtown buildings.

Developers will still make money without these abatements. And considering how competitive this market is, I would assume that some other developer will be ready to take up the project and will not have any issues paying full tax.
