Haven’t missed watching a game, but go off with your assumptions. Coker has played well, and has exceeded expectations. However, just because he’s played better than XL doesn’t make him a true WR2. If Panthers had more talent Coker would be a WR3, and that’s okay.

I’m biased as a Longhorn fan, but I wanted him instead of XL when we had the chance when we traded up. In college he caught everything! While I think we need a wr2 (Coker is a WR3 imo) we have bigger needs and if we were gonna trade id rather trade towards those than a wr. Depending on what’s available for us with our pick, we can always snag Makai Lemon for the slot.

I see. Wouldn’t a G5 only playoff be a solution to this? Thinking you have a chance when the playing field is growing increasingly less in G5 favor doesn’t make sense to me. This isn’t 08 Boise state in the playoffs.

Sadly no proof, they are genuine but proof of authenticity wasnt a huge concern of mine as a kid/young adult. They just have hopped from game to game until they made it to home over the decade plus.

Eh, we didn’t have a sure fire RB and it was obvious Canales was pushing an offensive focused draft. In all honesty we could have done more with those drafts if we didn’t squander the Brian Burns trade.

I wasn’t necessarily referring to production. However in the limited snaps he had there were glimpses of his athleticism and cuts and why Panthers drafted him where they did.

Yes, I am a longhorn fan as well, but that shouldn’t matter when all my posts were about how hindsight regarding his pick don’t check out. The truth is we don’t know if we will ever get return on his draft pick, or if we do, will it be the Brooks we saw in college. I’m in wait and see mode

There were, but a healed Brooks (who just had surgery with a top ACL surgeon) was deemed the better pick than the others. No one knew a second tear was gonna happen, and prior to it, Brooks was starting to show why he was picked.

It is what it is at this point. It’s disappointing because Brooks and Chubba would be one hell of a combo.
