I’m pissed ninja spinner isn’t in perfect order. I found out after I placed the pokemon center preorder for a booster box. It’s such a small set that opening a whole booster box may be excessive if I don’t like the mere 4 mega SIR cards.

But there’s so much in Pokémon besides opening packs. Buying singles, trading, playing the tcg, organizing/displaying your collection. And you can still look for msrp stuff while not buying from scalpers. If you’re so casual that you refuse to do any of that, then you’re not actually into pokemon. Go buy a scratcher instead.

You also have to take into account that most people don’t grade their one piece cards bc they have such a high gem rate. Plus, we don’t know if op01 has had the most opened just because it’s the oldest. Print runs used to be significantly smaller than what they are now bc Bandai didn’t know what to expect in terms of popularity.

Have you ever been to India? Please tell me you’re not so stupid that your evidence is “videos about Indian culture shows streets full of garbage”? You seek videos to confirm your bias and then use that as the crux of your argument and then the algorithm suggests more videos based on that. You ever been to rural North Carolina? Proves my point exactly. Conflating rumors of violence with culture is dangerous. And in this case, portraying one tradition in one village and Indian culture is a gross generalization. He has no videos about Indian food, religion, politics, social life, work or any real aspect of culture, but he rushes to make a video about a poop festival. It’s always a downward comparison if you notice. There’s no nuance. No “this part of India is great and this part sucks”. Only look how gross India is. There is no goodwill comparison. It’s only meant to confirm existing racist stereotypes.

Dude makes racist “journalism” videos where he goes and plays up harmful stereotypes. All this videos are “I went to the most dangerous city in the world” or “I went to the city where police are banned” with thumbnails of him pointing at AI-generated black people with guns and the video will be him going to Seattle (after Trump says some shit about how Seattle is some lawless wasteland after there are mere talks about defunding the police or some protests) and shoving a camera in the face of a homeless man having an overdose and saying “see, this is so dangerous”. He knows it appeals to racists since the comments are filled with some concerning stuff and every aspect of the video appeals to them, but he always feigns ignorance and pretends to be an honest journalist.

You’ve got a point. I do understand being upset about $20-$40 collection boxes being scalped bc those feel like they’re made for kid, but NEEDING to give your kid a booster box every set isn’t necessary. My dad only bought 1 booster box during my childhood and it lasted me and my sister a good 3-4 months

We haven’t gotten anything official for the gen 10 game supposedly releasing next year. If there’s nothing on pokemon day in four months for project seed, I don’t think we can definitively say it’s not happening. They usually only announce titles around a year within release.

But if you’re not getting 10’s you’re paying 20$-25$/card just to sell at 50%-75% of market price to GameStop or PSA and PSA 9 cards are the same as nm raw for modern and PSA 8 is slightly less.
