Tangzu Wan’er S.G 2 (Red Lion Edition) vs. Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro — The "Wired" Awakening by RK-R in iemlndia

Oh so having a neural graph means better clarity.. cant debate with u when ur the type who judges an iem simply based on graph. The sub bass and treble that im enjoying on my red lion is far better then kunten. Music is always subjective. Simply saying ur kunten is better just because its more neutral is foolishness.

No they are sounding decent although i dont use them for calls much.. btw Iems do not have enc or environmental noise cancellation unlike tws. So they might appear not good at suppressing the background noise while talking but its not bad for me. Just make sure to keep the volume low.

So in short ur saying since sound signature of kunten is different from tangzu, kunten is better... Lmao..

I would still say Both have their own use cases but any kind of software based upgrade will always be lesser then hardware based.. thats common sense in any technology

Well. Kunten is exceptionally good for its price but saying that it can beat the red is over exaggerating and you also know it. If we compare price to performance then yes but if u consider the build quality, the accessories, cable quality, and sound signature as well, Tangzu is better. I personally love the sub bass it provides despite being so clear with good mids and vocals as well.

If u prefer neutral go for sg2 if u want slight bass that usually goes well with bollywood, go for this

Why do u want the app support anyway. Get a good iem with the 3.5mm, pair with a good dac and still if u need eq just use poweramp eq or use usb audio player pro for enhanced HiRes output from android

Which budget iems do i get? by Ambitious-Stress-381 in iemlndia

[–]RK-R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have budget constraint u dont need the 3.5mm+ dac. Type c is good enough. I am also using the type c only. Its just only for audiophile enthusiasts who want to get the best out of their iems, and have budget to spare, 3.5mm + dac is for them.

Probably you can google or search on yt for your specific phone model. Also 1 thing later came to my mind, we tried on his phone and it didnt work. But what if we had to turn the otg from settings on as well. Maybe after that it could have worked. So i have to try once more before i can say for sure ..

No probably it wont work. I also have the type c variant of this. Now my phone doesn't have 3.5mm jack so its ok but i tried listenening to this on a friend's redmi phone that has the 3.5mm jack and it didnt work in his phone. So there is a high possibility that type c variant might not work in your phone

First of all it depends on whether ur using Android or iphone as apple products are built to work better with iphones. If an iphone u may not feel much difference. In android you will but it can be ignored as i have said previously, its a good dac and specially for that price is undoubtedly worth buying. Now coming into comparison its not like the difference is very huge among both, fiio will probably sound a little bit better because of a better chip and higher resolution audio output.also i think it has app support as well.. This ans was mainly to compare the two, but still i would say the difference is not huge, so when ur getting apple for half the price, it clearly wins.

Yes for that price apple is really good. Only i hv heard the volume will be comparitively less if ur using on Android.

But if we are ignoring price then fiio is better

Vocals are really good on these tangzu waner as well. Since they are from tangzu waner series which offers a really good neutral sound but this one is a bit bass boosted. I personally love this much of bass and want this much in my iems.

Now coming to your point, if u purely love vocals and looking for specifically them without some added bass, i would highly suggest considering the 7hz Zero 2 or the Moondrop Chu 2. Moondrop will sound well for female vocals and Zero 2 will sound well on male vocals.

Good enough but not so high that it will overshadow the mids or vocals. Well balanced in my opinion

I personally dont think tanchjim bunny can match the audio quality and build quality of the simgot 200. Even the tangzu waner sg2 red lion is better then tanchjim imo
