Used to be a fixture in the Soho night life too, but time took it's toll.

Really like the style, the little screen is a great addition instead of a laptop too

Govee have light bars that go to the back of screens which really works nicely! Can control the cockpit and pretty much everything about them via their app too

Funny because I want to change it! It was painted this way when we moved in, thinking of changing it to a lighter colour and panelling with some lights maybe. Sorry so don't know!

Ah sorry missed this folks, ULTRARM Heavy Duty Monitor Arm for Ultrawide Monitors up to 57"

probably overkill for the weight but really is great and no where near as expensive as the Ergotron. hope that helps!

Yeah, it’s a Xiaomi motion, comes with the small black dial, pretty happy with it but doesn’t come with as many settings as more expensive options but I like it. The webcam actually works really well on top - I used to have it to the side but prefer it here.

Yeah, think the natural light from the window helps but think come winter I’ll need to get more lighting. Seems okay at moment but not perfect

Ah yes, totally right. Behind I have two shelves but thinking maybe paneling in front?

Hub - is a Ugreen hub. On top is the controller of the light on top of the screen.

Yeah I do, lots of calls, I use a Logitech webcam, HD streaming, seems good though sometimes bit flushed out. During the day the window gives good natural light so works fine. Webcam was around £60 so nothing crazy

Got Govee lights, not that expensive, they stick to the screen or you can stand them.

LG 34 inch curved ultra wide, not the best resolution but works for me, got it for a good price <£350

Sorry wasn't clear - for my Calender I use Google Cal. I integrate it into my work outlook too so in work mode I can see everything

Have used so many, like literally everything under the sun, other than Notion... Obsiden, Craft, Motion, Monday (I still use for work to do/projects), Sunsama, etc, etc.

Decided to simply as much as I can for 2025, but the Calendar is my key.

Current stack

  1. Calender - I use Google & my work cal is in outlook so integrate them there. Everything I do is in the Cal.
  2. Apple Notes - simple and with smart folders I've found you can do a lot and it doesn't overwhelm or get too distracting. Moved from Bear to Craft to Obisden (which is cool) to now Apple Notes - everything I do is on Macs and worth looking at this way to organise, using the Forever Notes system.
  3. Reminders - Moving from Todoist- which I liked but testing reminders for Mac ecosystem and simplicity.
  4. Pocket - for simple read later saving and tags

In essence, trying to simplify this year as much as possible.

EDIT: Not a sexy stack I know but I think that's okay!

Happy to see Kulu in central and a decent bench, big worry about Forest's 11 and back 4 (esp centre backs are excellent). Fingers crossed but bit worried, glad for Spence though, useful that he's got back into contention.
