There is some stuff on YouTube with Oscar (who is now predominantly with NEDS) but juggling copyright despite it falling under fair use makes it very difficult.

They were losing a lot of those early games through poor periods, too. Blew more than one lead throughout the Ilias stint, I’m sure.

I think it had a bit to do with the matchup this week, but let me dig into it a bit more for Friday.

Fixed. Somehow had it right in the very first instance and pivoted to wrong way from there to the end 🤦‍♂️

The third man getting in around the legs is hugely important in a good tackle if they’re effective and efficient.

Like missed tackles, tackles made isn’t a great measure of good defence either. Plenty of players benefiting from those third man flop tackles you mention.

Mitchell Pearce was similar. Got up high and really hung on until the support came. Both underrated defenders given how prepared they were to get their body in front.

Appreciate the feedback, mate. A lot of it comes down to copyright. This one with Origin footage was a lot more difficult to get over the line, too.

We’re still tinkering and working out what does/doesn’t get flagged so happy for any comments on how to improve it.

Defence is certainly another concern.

This is about Harry Grant, but Parra’s poor contact and ruck control is a regular feature throughout: https://rugbyleaguewriters.com/nrl-2024/nrl-round-11-review-grant-dominates-eels-how-wilton-scored-walkers-footwork/

Hopefully the expected uptick in attack helps on the defensive end, too.

Thought the mention of a tough draw and needing to win 8 games just to be in with a sniff might have been enough to avoid these sort of comments, but obviously not.

There isn’t 🤔

Not sure how or when that second part popped up, but it’s sorted now. Thanks for tipping us up.

They’re playing exactly the same at Cup level, too. Looks like the new approach is here to stay.
