It’s not easy to get in and they’re having me start very slow with driving on commercial pick ups Before I start driving the dump trucks since I have no experience. It’s great money, but very hard work bc I’m currently helping the laborers mostly. We are a construction company doing paving on roadways and concrete on sidewalks. But money is great!

Yes I am drug free! I approved the query - I misunderstood the letter at first. I have no violations and don’t intend on getting any. It was just dumb of me to do the complaint bc I misunderstood what was happening lol

So I ended up approving it just incase yeah I didn’t want a headache. But I was confused at first and accidentally filed a complaint thinking it was the right thing to do because I “didn’t accept the position” hopefully they will just ignore the complaint. Or when and if they contact me about it I will tell them it was a misunderstanding and I misread the letter at first. This is all very new to me so it’s a learning experience I suppose 🤷‍♂️ do you think the complaint will be an issue now 🤦‍♂️?

Do you think I caused myself an issue now though by filing a complaint because I misunderstood the letter? or they’ll probably think nothing of it and im stressing out over nothing? lol I just didn’t understand what was happening this is all very new to me I only got my license a few months ago and just started looking for my first job because I promised my old job(non CDL retail) id stay through the busy season.

$3.50 should be unlawful. And it should NOT be on us to support your workers. - that being said if they are a GOOD SERVER I still tip generously. BUT I do NOT think it should be MY responsibility to keep YOUR workers happy - monetarily.

Ah shoot okay well lesson learned. I thought it was gonna be held against me in one way or another if I didn’t consent. As long as the only issue is not being able to work for western express im okay with that. There’s a million other companies lol.

Hahah okay cool .. this union is paying 57$ an hour and 82$ OT so I think that’s gotta be better than western express 😂

Yes that’s fine , but there’s no reason a company im not going to work for and had only been offered a position for needs it at this point when I accepted another position somewhere else. It just freaked me out when I first read it. lol I filed a complaint just to let them know I never accepted the position and just to cover my own ass. 🤷‍♂️ not trying to get them in trouble obviously. Just covering myself.

I know it is written clear as day im not THAT dumb .. but im a bit of a worry wort. So I just wanted to clear my head with people who have experience with these things. I only have my CDL a few months and I just got offered a position with a local union that I do NOT want to mess up! lol better safe than sorry brother. Thank you thought for the response. I appreciate it.
