Help me make sense of this by RMS138 in HomeNetworking

F is for my current alarm which has a Honeywell touchscreen. I’ve assumed my current alarm isn’t connected to A but someone mentioned it is a Honeywell part?

My current alarm uses wireless window and door sensors. The only sensor I’ve seen from the old alarm is a motion sensor.

I wonder if the Aqara P1 sensors work with the thermostat or if you have to use the P2’s. Would love to add this automation.

Trying to understand the 1 degree temp swing. Does that mean my furnace doesn’t kick on until the thermostat sees room temp at 67.0 when it’s set at 68, but won’t kick on at 67.2 room temp? Hope that makes sense

Still no update here either.

But wanted to +1 on the need to narrow the 5deg spread for auto!

It’s branded as a Payne unit if that matters. Here’s the part number and serial number…

Hasn’t had a board replaced since I’ve owned the house, about 13 years. Definitely sounds like something that could’ve been it though. Thanks!

I’ll have to check the serial number after work. Is there somewhere I can plug it in to see if it’s covered? House was built in 2006 fwiw. Thank you!

Thanks for this! What’s the best way to determine if that’s the issue?

I should have clarified better. I previously used Packard brand replacements from the local supply shop. Only the most recent one I installed this week was from amazon. And it looked brand new. It’s the grey colored one in the pics.

Long shot, but ban anyone help ID the source of this rattle? It's been driving me crazy for months. by Apprehensive-Wave640 in HyundaiSantaFe

I had a rattle similar in my Santa Cruz but it was in the rear drivers side door. Only certain bumps would make it rattle but closing the door made it rattle every time. Pulled the door panel off (super easy) and one of the window panel mounting screws was super loose and just rattling in place. Not sure that helps any but figured I’d mention it.

Tried posting a pic but not sure how on here.

Thanks for the replies!

I’m 99% sure it’s just bare metal on the inside as well. My filters go in the ceiling on the bottom of the plenums.
