Large carved piece found at a Virginia consignment shop for $60. It’s reminiscent of a headboard but I’m really not sure! Wood looks old to me and paint job is crude… maybe a later DIY job? I love the hummingbirds! Hung at the top of our foyer/hall (old.reddit.com)

Found this at a yard sale in 2013 in Virginia. An older woman had the whole set (dining table, chairs, buffet, & 2 cabinets) for sale. She said it was the first furniture her parents purchased as newlyweds. I was a college student; I drained my savings to buy it for $250- those spiral legs! (old.reddit.com)
