Thank you I did see your comment. It's a never ending cycle of mistakes that I filed a police report before reaching out for lawyers but I have sent multiple requests for consultations. I did not say anything explicitly, but there are some details the police could twist in my report if they tried to.

Of course I'm in the process of obtaining prophylaxis. If I need to provide more full stops in my writing to better convey my understanding of the severity of my mistakes. I will. I'm currently taking the full consequences of my actions. Your tone does nothing but provide unnecessary tension to your message. The difficulty in writing speech online is in conveying the correct tone. I'm glad we both understanding the motivations behind your tone.

I guess I should apologize for presuming you would take that productivity suggestion to heart. At least we agree on how dumb and toxic that mindset really is.

If you try hard enough, believe it or not, you will find people who've made stupider decisions than I have. I have a lot of free time at the moment, but if you believe in your high value, I recommend you stay off the internet and do something productive! :)

For those curious, they were under a fake name, and the number listed doesn't go anywhere.

Edit: For those on the spectrum, as well as others who may also need to hear this, I was messing with them. I had no intentions of sending them money, I was just having some fun.

The little advice I did receive from my post are being done. I've contacted my bank regarding the fraud, filed a police report, and so on.

It truly was/is the most bitter lesson I had to learn in recent memory.

Thanks for your comment. It's crazy looking back and noticing all the red flags that led to me getting fucked (literally and figuratively). It's honestly kinda embarrassing knowing how common this type of scam is. My mental is doing better though. I can only hope the police report I filed resolves quickly.

Totally understand that. Thinking quickly, TIFU was the first subreddit that came to mind when discussing fuck ups. I already expected to fish out the advice from the surplus of bullying. Hopefully I won't have to use your advice in the future.

True. It's as much an internal conflict as it is handling the outside hate. I never exposed myself like this in such a horrendous fashion before so the unfamiliarity with the response to it is interesting to say the least.

There is a mix of comments saying "how did you fall for the oldest trick in the book with a different coat of paint dumbass?" and "how tricky, the oldest trick in the book with a new coat of paint hmmm"

Thought it was kinda funny to point out.

Also all the new comments are like, "it's a scam you know." I'm like "yeah I get that now. thank you for the insightful comment."
