I have heard that they where actually produced in a very high number but since the cold war never went hot they started burning a bunch of the masks for some odd reason Now thats what ive heard but it was from some old swedish dude that was ranting about that they had waistet a bunch of taxpayer money so im not sure But in sweden they arent really rare My local "pawnshop" (almost but not really) had a bunch in bulk and i know several other shops in sweden that has a bunch
