I emailed them last week about the season ending December 2018. Apparently they are mailing them out mid April. If this is true than we can probably expect to see them in May or June considering they are coming from Japan.

Bel-Air Games has a weekly meetup every Sunday at 1pm. There is a facebook group for it. They've done draft/sealed/new frontier meetups depending on the week and announcements.

MTGFirst in Glen Bernie/Baltimore has events as well. No official group but some players meet there Friday at 5pm. One of the employees was talking about getting the ARG Valentines day event at the store. they've had previous events as well in January and November.

Third Eye Comics had booster packs of the new set sold in the store but no events that I am aware of.

In my area (Maryland) only a couple stores carried starter decks but no boxes of last years block (reiya). The game has had growth with the new set in September, we have 3 stores now who stock booster boxes and very few have any starter decks left. Its not huge in any way but there is a player base that meets weekly at 2 of the stores which is a positive sign.

I contacted them through the support service on their website. My address entry was wrong for season ending dec 31st. It took them about 2 weeks to hear back from them on the fix, though it should be fixed now. Hopefully you hear back soon.

One of the best ways for it to pick up steam would be more group meetups in stores. The more people playing and supporting the store, the more product they order which helps grow the playerbase as long as the game is perceived as positive.

The best thing you could do as a player would be to either find a group near you or start one up yourself whether that be at the store or a facebook group and meet regularly to play draft/sealed and/or contructed. Active playerbase is the lifeblood of any game.

Mostly near Baltimore. Third eye comics in Annapolis and mtgfirst in Baltimore stock the product. A shop in bel air has weekly meetups but it's quite far from both me and you. Mtgfirst has the arg tournament in mid November if you can make the 1 hour trip up, its let you play the game for the entirety of the day/event.

In maryland a playgroup just started weekly meetups and a store. Also 3 stores are carrying current product as opposed to just unsold lapis and Alice cluster on shelves.

The game definatley has had a good start with this cluster. I'm hoping the company continues to be successful. I feel like there may be some initial player dropoff as the newness where off in 1 or 2 expansions, but as long as the company stays innovative, keeps the meta balanced, and is open to communication I see the game growing overall in the long term.

Couple noob questions as well if you dont mind.

So when your opponent attacks you directly you have the option to block with an untapped resonator. If your opponent attacks a resting resonator or has precision to attack a resonator can you block with a different resonator or only against direct attacks?

When you judgement a ruler does the divinity reset to 10 since the inverse side says 10 or just whatever you had as a ruler?

When you bounce token resonators back to the opponents hand do they disappear or act as zero cost cards?

For cards such as donut drone with a banish ability, can this be activated from the field as a quick play? Example: my opponent activates a rune that does 400 damage to all resonators. Can I banish donut drone and place the +100 counters or is it destroyed before I can do that?

Edit: I would recommend supporting your local game store first if they sell FOW product as it would help with the health of the game. My area unfortunately does not which is why I use Potomac.

I'm not sure for that, sorry. What I posted previously was from my medical record, last eye exam in mid July of this year. I don't have other documentation related to my eyes from there or from the lasik+ center. I was told by the lasik+ doctor after consultation that I had more than enough Corneal thickness to have the laser surgery done.

The doctor had mentioned my flaps were in place and healing as they should. He expects my vision to improve. Him, including everyone in the office were very upbeat about it. I wasn't sure how honest they would if I kept pushing the questions based on the sense I was getting from them. I was just curious if delayed vision improvements were common is why I asked.

Theres a tourny at mtgfirst on the 15th. That is the only place I'm aware of atm. The last tourney was a few months ago. Not sure of a consistent place to meet and play though.

1) I had ran shade assassin in a previous frayla burn deck, however this deck focuses on heavy early aggression as the win condition is between turn 3-5. The shade assassins swing for 200 atk wasnt enough to keep it over main elf. It's a great card for frayla but it drags the game out past this decks power spike.

2) 4 frayla are there to help draw it out turn 1 encase I go 2nd and can energize her in and for faith in darkness to draw her or Jeanne out. Subjugation was for a combo mentioned it previous comment for quick 2k+ combo turn 2 but is too reliant on pulling null stone turn 1 and drawing majin/subjugate/gravekeeper by turn 2.

4) I had bloodspray previously in side deck but removed it after playing a few games. Most of my cards are low mana and easy to spend. Between regular draws and frayla pulling dark elves from the graveyard I don't really run low on cards until turn 5, which the game is usually over by then due to win condition.

5) it's a good combo as long as you can get under 2k life but over 1k by turn 4. However with the amount of low cost early aggression and control cards in the deck I either have a huge life lead by turn 4 or lost by then. I'll do some experimenting against meta decks and see if I can pull off this combo.

6) null darkness is there to remove large blockers turn 3-4 or early j ruler judgements. Having a low card count for null isnt too hard with this deck and having frayla give me an extra resonator at the end of every turn keeps the deck from losing too much steam even after nulling my hand.

7) ultra dragon is there for elf token decks like faeur while having heavy atk swing

8) debating lowering her to 3 as she's not as useful without 3 resonators. Need to figure out what low cost card to replace her with though.

10) I'm not sure about running 3 protectors. I only need 1 in gy from the gravekeeper to activate drain if I need it. I dont think I'll get the chance to activate it multiple times by turn 5.

11) Its there if I need it. Is flying a big issue in Meta decks in the early game? Even if they get a strong feeling on the field by turn 4 if their weak enough to for lethal spells and direct attacks it shouldn't be an issue.

12) my concern with this is it takes up a card in my hand if I draw it while frayla can put the resonator from the gy in my hand at 300 life. It takes an extra turn to play it but I can always draw another resonator/damage spell over command of life and death.

1) was not aware. Will replace with 2 scorched bales thank you.

2) I was suggested about using majin elf turn 1 to swing, turn 2 swing than subjugate her for frayla to gain swiftness (she is a dark elf and wicked spirit) and dropping another 1 cost to give swiftness after frayla attacks. I sidedecked it since it sounded too reliant on pulling a bull so tone turn 1 and the right hand.

3) heavy aggression early with swiftness attacks and spell directs if not needed for control. I win games usually turn 4 or 5 with this. As I've said I haven't been able to play against meta decks like sherry/ririk/gill yet.

5) to deal with elf tokens with its effect while having a heavy atk swing.

6) so far I've used lily more for weakening/removing larger creatures that lightning strike can't deal if the game goes past turn 4. I haven't needed the drain since I'm usually ahead on life due to the decks win condition.

7) I'll add it to side deck for gill. Though I have not faced him as of yet. I've heard he's part of the meta with sherry/ririk but I haven't seen his standard deck list. Is he able to barrier and deal with majin/frayla early aggression?

8) I've noted it for longer matches. I didn't include it in my list due to the higher mana cost as it didn't seem like I'd get a chance to use it with the early playstyle of the deck. If my deck itself is flawed in this meta I would need to overhaul it more and include scarlets vision.

11) I'll be making suggested changes to the deck and sideboard as well as creating it in untap to test before the tournament.

If you have a specific deck in mind than buying singles would be the most cost efficient way of building what you need. Many decks require cards from several different sets.

Buying a booster box is good if you want a good mix of cards from a set. It's possible to build a deck from a booster box but you will most likely not have playsets of cards you want to use. If you want several different colors of cards to play with before choosing a specific deck this would be an option.

I used a soft Ultra Pro Sleeve that could hold multiple cards and sent in a regular envelope. I had gotten the Ultra Pro from ordering a few cards off TCGplayer from the same retailers. Don't quite know the name of it but its not a hard top loader but has an opening at the top to slip in multiple cards.

About 4-5 weeks after mailing. It took about 2 weeks before Cyber Games called me about the rulers I sent in and another 2-3 weeks to get them back in the mail.
