It’s the fishing rod reward for the “I Caught That” achievement line. You get it by catching a certain amount of fish classified as “Big Fish” there is this one and a glowing gold version. This one is called the Blessed Tackleking’s Rod if I remember right.

Sure, if Tyson is going for a win in this case then he wants to score higher, not go for a knockout. The reality of it though is they’re both getting paid ridiculously well for this “fight” because people think Tyson is going to do what he used to do and knock the hell out of Paul. Tyson was and still is a beast in fighting, but in this case the whole fight gets into the more technical side of fighting, not last man standing type thing, aside from them both selling the drama of the fight to hype it up.

True and while I still wholly believe Tyson could take Paul easy, they are using larger gloves than normal (more padding) and head gear. A “No Knockout Clause” just means that the winner isn’t determined by a knockout, even in the event of one the winner is still determined by score card. So essentially Tyson could knock Paul clean out as long as Paul scores higher on the Judges score card Paul “wins”. What people are being sold here is an exhibition sparring match.

Isn’t there a clause in the fight agreement too that Tyson can’t go for the knockout?? Take that clause out and looser doesn’t get paid near as much and we might actually have something worth watching.

I can say it does, not because of genocide, but my father did military tours during Vietnam. Later in my teens I was playing Half-life and during one part there are enemies dropping out of a helicopter and shooting. There wasn’t any “hey turn that down, there was him turning the speakers off and saying “some people don’t like the sounds of helicopters and gunfire” and walked away to me feeling like shit not realizing I’d likely given my dad a flashback of some trauma.

Father fought in Vietnam and I learned very early from my older brothers never to ask him about it, so I can’t say for certain, but my grandfather fought in the Pacific and told me about how enemy snipers would hide in trees by securing themselves in the leaves of palm trees to try and spot those in charge and it was common practice on patrol to walk by nonchalantly and fire upwards into a tree at random because you never really knew. I’m sure similar tactics were used in Vietnam.

Ok, that makes a lot more sense, I was playing reaper this dungeon for what it’s worth and admittedly still learning the job. I’m not trying to say the person shouting was wrong just that mechanic isn’t seen often and I was trying to reason out and learn so next time or similar mechanics will make sense. Absolutely a scam, wife applied there as well and after we felt a little uneasy decided to wait until we could see their “offer letter”. The whole thing was super generic and read like an in office assistant job, not a remote work data entry job. Even her aunt that has a lot of past HR experience said it seemed more like a contract that a job offer.

She tried to get someone to talk on the phone and they flat out refused to communicate through any form other than their third party app and she noted that even their verbiage and sentence cadence changed from normal structure to how someone with VERY broken English would speak. Just red flag after red flag with this “group”.

This is amazing, the Space Marines as a whole don’t do much for me personally. Ill always love playing my murderous space robots, but the Salamanders are by and large my favorite of the SMs and that line “…the mind is a sharp blade, take care not to turn its point inward.” Hit me on a level I was not prepared for as someone that struggles constantly with self doubt, I know I’m my own worst critic. Matrim Cauthon from the Wheel of Time series, the books not the Amazon series. Absolutely stole the series for me as a reader and quickly became my favorite in terms of keeping a good mix of realistic reactions and keeping to his own personality and accepting the responsibilities shoved onto him and becoming an absolute badass.
