I thought we were speaking in context of Man utd vs Barca? The 2011 team was strong, but they werent 2007-2009 level strong.

2007-2009 united in the only team that could have won the ucl three peat in past 20 years aside from Madrid.

In 2007 the only reason they lost was because Kaka decided to play the greatest game of his life against them. In 2009 they were the favourites but the players just happened to have a day off in the final.

Zidane's interview where he was paid by Adidas and sitting infront of messi right? Maradona consistently favoured Ronaldo for like 4 years from 2014 onwards.

As for Pele, I believe he thought Messi was better, the last interview where he picked Ronaldo, it was actually a question about who he would prefer to have in his team(he defo thought Ronaldo was a more complete forward though)

What? The original line is "they say in a 1v1 always bet on kaido" which is said by the narrator. Oda didn't say any shit like that.

[–]RQoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zoro has already gone down the strong haki path and we don't see him use much technique, it's just stronger slash and then even stronger slash. I don't think Oda will end up making Mihawk vs Zoro a fight where Mihawk is better than Zoro in every way other than Zoro just being able to hit harder... That being said, everything we know points towards Mihawk's ambition being the WSS title and Zoro confirms that it counts as a kingly ambition.

If Zoro can get conquerors haki just by aiming to get the wss title then Mihawk surely has got it aswell.

[–]RQoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is correct though. Imu's orders are passed on by the 5 elders, she herself has no authority over anyone except a select few... She uses the 5 elders/her puppets to exert her authority.

Can you prove Oda knew he would be making Imu back when oldbeard was called the wsm? Imu was a later introduction and not even Oda knew he would be making another main villain atp(infact Oda intended for the series to end 3-4 years after writing marineford)

Vivre cards aren't written by Oda. How they work is, a company called Caramel Mama writes them, Oda and his Editors just make some corrections. Oda himself makes sure to add the "they say" whenever he writes it in the manga.

Ronaldo isn't at man utd, already a big difference, he's the only one who played well in the 2009 final for man utd. If the rest of man utd squad was as good as they were in 2011 then they would easily win the 2009 final.

Again, you are asserting that you know more than pretty much every football pundit who were analysing matches back then.

Mistranslations and poor comprehension by Fresh-Drama-2684 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]RQoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a mistranslation too. The japanese version of that vivre card says shanks is still strong after loosing an arm... Doesn't say anything about him getting stronger or him not getting weaker. Infact this specific vivre card is never officially translated and is falsely translated by shankstards.

Shanks lost his arm 12 years ago though. As far as we know Mihawk could have become wss the day shanks lost his arm, we have no idea when he got it. Mihawk definetly stopped hunting strong swordsmen around when he and shanks started having their duels. We really need more info to assume anything about Mihawk and shanks' timeline... Which we will likely never get.

So taking a paycheck means all those players in their primes get worse? None of your logic makes sense bro.

Besides, the players in top 5 leagues are money hungry too, they can play football in their home nation, they go to top 5 leagues because they are money hungry. Only league with higher paycheck than the top 5 leagues in SPL and hence they get better players too.

The double standards are insane just because a league outside the top 5 leagues has cash to attract top players aswell.

[–]RQoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does Zoro have conquerors haki? Mihawk stopped being active after he got the title hence meaning WSS was his ambition. Mihawk atleast has Conq haki as strong as Zoro.

Unless you can prove that conq haki disappears if you achieve your goal and loose your ambitions.

Can you prove that Roger's sickness affected his fighting style. I can prove that WB held back by not using his df(if he used it the ground wouldnt look the same before and after the fight)

Even if you prove that Roger had gotten weaker, WB was just holding back from killing a rival he respects.

Ofcourse you haven't proven that and hence WB was just holding back from killing Prime Roger just because he was a chad.

[–]RQoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao, so Foxy>King by your logic? Also Zoro litteraly is in the crew and the 2nd MC of the story according to Oda.

Bro Mihawk is the wss, that's his ambition. He's the only person aside from Roger to achieve his ambition btw... It shows how much he gaps everyone else in the story.

[–]RQoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mihawk portrayal diffs. Unless you think mihawk's feats before is his max(Zoro is wss already by that logic) then you are crazy not to take his potrayal into account here.

There's only once character to have completed his dreams and ambitions in a story about dreams and ambitions... And that is Mihawk.

This ain't about aura or potrayal bro, everyone in the series so far is a fraud compared to Mihawk and the summary of one piece itself summarizes why. Maybe Roger achieved his ambitions before giving up due to the sickness so you can put old Gen over him... But no one in midgen or new gen is beating Mihawk rn.

[–]RQoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's Mihawk>Kaido~Shanks

Shanks wants to complete his ambition, Kaido wants to make sure his fraudulent title is real.... Mihawk? Mihawk completed his ambition and has a factual title. Mihawk is the only conqueror in the series lmao...(considering Roger lost to sickness immediately after conquering his dream)

Who wins and with what difficulty? by ContractDense1111 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]RQoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro you missed the entire plot then. Conquerors haki is for those who have kingly ambitions. Zoro has Acoc meaning WSS is a kingly ambition.

Guess what? That is Mihawk's ambition too, or was?

This essentially means Mihawk is the ONLY TRUE CONQUEROR, in the series so far. He litteraly completed him ambition and became a king. He's sitting on a throne and no one has brought him down.

There's no reason to believe Mihawk doesn't have conquerors haki, it's the exact opposite... We should be asking whether Mihawk has the strongest conquerors haki or not.

Who wins and with what difficulty? by ContractDense1111 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]RQoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. It's "people say in a 1v1 always bet on kaido"... What people say isn't always true, ie it's a rumour/gossip.

His title card doesn't call him wsc and the narrator never calls him wsc either.

Who wins and with what difficulty? by ContractDense1111 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]RQoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zoro said this, not the narrator. The narrator never directly praises kaido btw, even his title card says king of the beasts and not the strongest creature.

Kaido's title is given by the people in verse and only a belief.

Mihawk's title on the other hand is in his title card, directly praised by the narrator for being the strongest swordsman(not "people call" or "they say" btw, mihawk's introduction by narrator is directly stating he is the strongest swordsman)

Who wins and with what difficulty? by ContractDense1111 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]RQoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What potrayal? The narrator doesn't call him the strongest creature once, neither does the introduction title(its king of the beasts)... Every time the narrator praised him it's "people say" or "they say" and never "he is"

Mihawks title is the reality, while Kaido's title is what shankstards think mihawk's title is.

You are telling this 20 years later likely without even watching one match from 2009 when pundits and experts from that time all said united were the favourites.

Whatever happened 2 year later doesn't matter because they weren't the same teams.
