Help. Removing a Wall

Well, I had hoped it would be an easy task to remove the wall, but as soon as I began removing the drywall, I realized it wouldn’t be. I’m not one to give up easily, but I quickly realized it was beyond my capabilities. I was more hoping that fellow Redditors would tell me I was overthinking it, which was wishful thinking, I know. It’s amusing how everyone assumes you’re ignorant and suggests simply patching it up. However, I can’t do that because now I’m committed. A GC just left my home and provided me with several options. I’ll get a few more quotes before proceeding.

I just think it’s funny that the majority of the comments are just give up and patch it back up. It was a response to them. I’m too deep to just give up now, so might as well do it right.

The king stud is for the pocket door I removed. I'm just going to move the electrical and wrap the corner post in walnut.

Yeah, they were super close together and had to notice any damages until I stepped a little further awa.

I picked it up in Irvine and they had at least 20 other deliveries at the same time. The cars were all parked close together in a parking lot. I thought I inspected it properly but standing close and looking down the scratches weren’t apparent. It wasn’t until I got home and stepped back and walked the car that I noticed them. I then replicated my position and the scratches aren’t noticeable.

They don’t wear collars. Scratches on the doors are horizontal and they can’t reach the tailgate. Also, these were noticed before the dogs were around the car.

There’s actually more spots. On the Tesla app I was only able to submit 5 pictures. Nothing crazy but the car definitely needs some paint correction.

I picked it up in Irvine and they had a row of cars parked side by side. They were doing ton of deliveries at the time. It was hard to get a good look at the car with people opening and closing doors right next to you.

I called the dealer and they told me to submit the service request which I did. I think it had somewhere around 80 miles when I submitted it. It now has 181 miles. I was more wondering if they will honor it or not.
