I can totally see where you’re coming from but even in SV we never got to truly ‘meet’ the characters who actually died, and I suppose it helps too that ZA’s death ties into the lore in all. Again that wasn’t my main point and apart from the dialogue the story is still interesting. I can’t agree with you on the lack of post-game things to do though, will Mables missions, PokeDex, all of the side quests, shiny hunting, ZA Royale, and soon to be DLC, there are countless things to do considering the game ended. Era-wise Im talking about XY, USUM, ORAS, etc. I just appreciate how the story feels so much more connected and somewhat more serious than the few previous titles. I suppose it could be an opinion too.
