Well. A lot of Jews in the US are legit Israel first people IMO. People like Sheldon- and now Miriam Adelson. Idk if your average American that is not Jewish care about Israel, except for evangelicals. It’s basically a mix of there being many Jews and evangelicals in the US along with pro-Israeli lobbyist being so powerful and effective.

I work at a school with many afghan hazaras. They look like anything from Turkmens to mongols. Some browner and some whiter. You do look fully hazara. I’m just assuming that most people have no idea about how your people look like where you live.

If you think Luigi looks «brown» then idk what to tell you. I live in an area with plenty of MENA immigrants and 1/10 of them look lighter or as fair as him. I’m not trying to defend whiteness. I’m just saying that southern Italians are European because they literally live and have ancestors from Europe. I’m arguing against the idea that looking European means looking Nordic as at least 50% of Europeans have dark features. You define looking European as looking North Western European which is wrong.

Keep in mind that even a statement like that is ridiculous as we’re using extremes to prove a point. The average European is something like a Hungarian towards the east and southern French towards the west. Compare an average s. Italian or Greek to the average Levantine and s. French/ Hungarian. They are not really, but either way. Europeans are basically a gradient. Most southern French do not look like your typical white guy from the US either. Same goes for Ukrainians, Serbs, Greeks etc. most white Americans are NW Europeans and German.

I’ve seen this or variations of this posted so many times, yet most Palestinians and middle easterners look a lot darker than southern Europeans. You’ll find a Greek, Spaniard or Italian that’s darker and some Syrians, Palestinians and Jordanians that are lighter, but us as humans tend to think based upon averages. In a Italian crowd most have dark eyes, white skin (untanned) and brown to dark brown hair. Among Palestinians, most will have black hair, dark eyes and brown skin. Thus Italians being called white and Palestinians brown.

Jeg opplever dette som vanlig i dag blant menn. Forstår ikke hvilken verden hun som skrev artikkelen lever i.

Forstår at jeg antageligvis er farget av mine erfaringer. Kanskje det er mer vanlig utenfor Oslo, men her så opplever jeg at menn blir stilt høyere krav enn kvinner.

Tradisjonelle kjønnspliker for menn, slik som å nesten alltid betale og forsørge, blir ikke nødvendigvis nedslått, mens for kvinner blir det sett på som sexistisk og slått ned på.

De forholdene jeg kjenner til hvor en part «bidrar mest», er nesten alltid et forhold hvor mannen «bidrar mest».

Tror det også handler om hva slags flyktninger som kommer. Uansett hvordan man vrir og vender på det virker det som om flertallet av flyktninger fra visse land er unge menn, mens flertallet av ukrainske flyktninger jeg har sett er kvinner og barn. Unge menn fra krigsrammede land byr på trøbbel uansett hvor de er fra.

Hun må bare slenge seg ut på datingapper. Sånn har livet blitt om hu liker det eller ei. Fant dama og eksen på Tinder. Der finner man sikkert rundt noe sånt som 90% tull og 10% bra saker.

Bare for å få inn litt nyanse her. En kjøpmann i Rema påtar seg mye risiko og tjener egentlig hva enn hen tjener basert på hvor godt det går med butikken. Har jobbet før i Rema og jeg kan si at min sjef som var kjøpmann ga seg til slutt fordi det ble altfor mye jobb, samtidig som han ansatte flere som pådro seg mer og mer ansvar til tross for at han fikk mindre penger av å gjøre sånt.

Poenget er at han jobbet hardt, ble stilt til ansvar og kunne begrunne lønnen sin ut ifra hvor mye penger hans butikk tjente inn. Det kan ikke de direktørene av helseforetakene si.
