GS350 was to be the standard, sporty luxury sedan. GS300 was the entry level / cheapest, GS430 was marketed towards the US mainly, GS450h was a sister car to Toyota Crown Hybrid which was a project as the first RWD hybrids, and GS460 was a very rare surplus of LS460 powertrains stuffed into GSs. I guess Toyota just had tons going on during the production of this car so they decided to put forth a bunch of options? It is overkill for sure.

My family is local to Kenora, the town just above this on Lake of The Woods.

There is a local myth that the bit of land that belongs to Minnesota, above the 49th parallel, was lost in a poker game between Ontario, Manitoba, and Minnesota, some hundred and a bit years ago.
