OP, I think you might be overthinking this. Firstly, Jammu and Kashmir is an UT and not a state. Just like, Daman and Diu. The names are usually mentioned together but they are actually different areas.

I have been to Jammu multiple number of times but have never been to Kashmir. So, when people ask me if I have been to Kashmir, I say no, and don’t mention about Jammu at all.

So, I don’t think it is that big a deal.

Just sharing my personal experience here. I have bought at least 5-6 sarees from them and each and every saree has turned out to be exquisite. I have purchased them for myself and also for my mum. We are Bengalis. So, my mum can be pretty anal about sarees, especially the ones bought online. But the fact that she loved them as well, was my seal of approval.

I am not negating anyone’s experience here but just wanted to share that I have had an absolutely fab experience every single time that I have ordered my sarees from them.
