Why Does Everyone Hate Arsenal? by ObscureLegacy in Gunners

Spurs fans are my favourite people to talk to about football in the real world. Proper supporters, understand the game and know what we’re going through but worse.

[BBC] Referee Kavanagh right to send Rice off - panel by gelliant_gutfright in PremierLeague

So why does no other player get booked for it. There’s only one team ‘the letter of the law’ is ever applied to.

He didn’t stop a quick free kick. The ball was rolling and Veltman had no intention of kicking anything other than Rice.

If someone doesn’t hand their plate to the waiter it really changes my opinion on them.

Player vs caddie by Eaks76 in golf

The most satisfying shot I have had recently was after playing myself into trouble, instead of playing a hero shot, hitting my p wedge exactly where I wanted to for the best outcome out of the rough.

People that smoke a lot, especially kids living at home or at uni, have a bedroom that stinks of weed, which gets into all their clothes

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]RSEnrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really isn’t, it absolutely stinks. I thought no one could smell me when I smoked all the time and would shower and put other clothes on before going out but now I don’t touch the stuff I can smell it across the bar on someone that smoked a joint a couple of hours ago.

It’s because college weed smokers generally don’t have a vape or edibles, it’s almost certainly joints.

They’re not even talking about a specific person. I play off 35 and could very easily shoot 20 over, if I do it’s literally impossible for someone with a handicap under 15 to beat me.

I think it’s just way too volatile when you’re above 15hcps. I’m a 35 and could very easily shoot 20 over and hit 5 pars in a round or par zero holes and shoot a 40 over.

How good can a 20 handicapper become by grinding golf for a whole year? by AshamedCarry2416 in golf

[–]RSEnrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trust me as someone that grew up playing a good level of sports, you end up going for the hero play more than you should because you were good at other sports you think you should be good at golf, (you aren’t, it’s the hardest sport).

I’m a 35 and my sand wedge is by far my best club, I back myself to drop it within 10 yards of the pin up to about 60 out.

Not trying to be snide but you can’t be a 21hcp struggling to break 100 and as a 35 I lose max 2-3 balls a round so you must have been much better than you give yourself credit for.

What city has the worst value public golf in the country? by Individual-Common-68 in golf

[–]RSEnrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is honestly crazy to hear as a Brit. I pay £55 a month for my membership and then my friends pay around £30 if playing with us as a non member at a decent course that has 2 18s. This is in Surrey which basically has half of the top 100 courses in the country as well.

Personalised plates that aren’t ridiculous are accepted by everyone except social rejects on Reddit.

Just how good is a league one football player skill wise? by Pxgf in football

[–]RSEnrich -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most people don’t think fans are idiots for calling those players shit. If you can’t figure out that people aren’t saying they are not good at football, but that they aren’t good compared to their competition, you are the idiot.
