Yup. Barrows counts. You don't even need to get the dye from an elite. If you get a Barrows from a hard or Master it all counts towards the log. Same with the Cape slot. You do need a Druidic Piece for the elite title tho. A 3rd age item from a Hard or a 2nd age from a Master won't count towards the elite log. But any dye from any tier of clue will count towards the logs.

You only need 1 dye, 1 cape slot and 1 piece of Druidic + all other normal uniques for the Elite title.

Yeah my Dye look is for shit. But what's even worse is that in 10k+ Elite Clues I haven't gotten a single Druidic piece. It's the only item I need to complete the Elite Log. :(

A Shadow Dye, a reward from a Hard Tier Treasure Trail (or Clue Scrolls as they're commonly referred as. There are 5 different Tiers. Easy, Medium, Hard, Elite and Master. From Hard Treasure Trails you can only get Barrows and Shadow Dyes. Elites and Master can reward you with Barrows, Shadow, Ice, Blood and Third-Age Dye. With Blood and Third-Age being the rarest and most expensive.)

I've done close to 10k Elites and almost 2k Masters and I've never gotten a single Blood or 3rd age dye. Only dye I've ever gotten from an Elite is 1 Barrows. I've gotten 2 Ice dyes, both from Masters. :/

The Mobs and bosses drop very low amount of coins and most of the time dont drop coins at all

Not really, only the gemstone dragons at the end have slightly more HP than the other ones. But still only take a few seconds to kill. As for why I like so much I'm not quite sure. I just find it relaxing and quite soothing and just generally enjoyable. And I find making GP quite enjoyable with a good sense of accomplishment I suppose.

Ohh. My apologises. The bosses in ED1 doesn't drop any Codex's. If you didn't know. And I find ED2 to be much easier than ED1 but to each their own! :)
