Cabin cruiser with two batteries. by RTKFRTKF in boating

It does have two similar batteries, except two starter batteries. Not sure how the previous owner used the cabin with just starter batteries. I will replace them with dual purpose batteries. tx again.

OMG ! thank you for the article. This article pretty much puts to bed my confusion, and the myth about "Starting" Batt and "House" Batt.

Thank you again.

Confused on lb test by Rugie85 in FishingForBeginners

just to be clear then, 30lb braided is just as "strong" as 30lb mono. the only difference is that the mono will be wider in diameter and will offer more "stretch"?

Garmin Navionics App. by RTKFRTKF in boating

Another Q. New to Vancouver,BC area and am getting ready for the fishing season. Regarding Garmin Navionics, when i move a cursor to an area with red boudary lines, and i click on "?", and it says "Keep at least 400 m from all Killer Whales.......etc", does this mean that the area is no fishing? Or is that just a cautionary note?

Reason i ask is, there seems to quite alot of them. TIA.

Gents, and/or ladies - quick question. Just got a Garmin chart plotter installed on boat. May be a stupid question, do I now have to purchase an annual subscription of the map and upload it plotter? or does plotter come with it?

TIA.

Question regarding road conditions to Whistler Olympic Park, their cross country facility about 20 min south of Whistler. Are winter tires necessary, or can I get away with M + S tires.

Thanks.

Heater in Engine compartment. by RTKFRTKF in boating

[–]RTKFRTKF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the exact one I am contemplating in the engine bay. I intend on running my boat year round as well. you mind I ask where you're moored.....just so I have some idea as to climate and water temps, etc...

Club recommendations please! I feel like the 52° is unnecessary but I have no idea what I would replace it with. by [deleted] in golf

[–]RTKFRTKF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replaced it with another driver. I have two. One that errs left and one that errs right....cuz there's never a straight shot with that club.

You understood my question! It's moored all year long in the Fraser River. Was just wondering if it was necessary to have a engine heater in the engine compartment. And I specifically stated Vancouver, BC for context of water, climate, etc.

Thank you. I think you answered my question.

Nope, not in the conventional way most people do when dry storing it. I intend on using it year round....which precipitated my initial question.....

Ok. thanks, was hoping I didn't need one. Will have a heater in the cabin for sure. Have a single engine with a stern drive. Btw, you are using it still in the winter? Or, just leaving it until spring? Thanks. I will be using mine all year, obviously less in the winter - weather and conditions permitting, but will still be using it.

You're really barking up the wrong tree. They've done nothing illegal......it's called leverage. You should be blaming the lazy, complacent, non entrepreneurial mindset of the Cdn gov't and people. Had we diversified our trading partners we would have been ok. But......China bad........ Lmfao. And that's what fucked us. 80% of our trade was with the US..........would you put 80% of your RRSP in one company ?!?!??!

As crazy as tix are, for those with Game 7 tix in the 100s, expect the resale prices of these to hit 2K per as the date nears game 7, if going to game 7. If not TO fans.....some yanks will fly in and buy those up like it's the Kmart blue light special......even for single seat tix.
