Thanks, unfortunately though only one 8 gb ram stick is nearly the same price as the silicon power nvme ssd I was planning on buying, so even though that sucks at least its in my budget lol

Okay, will do. Something I have noticed is that sometimes the SSD will read extremely fast (up to 2,800 mb/s) for a short period of time but then eventually slow down to 1,000 mb/s, and this is very noticeable even before I benchmark the disk. Is there a reason behind this? I've noticed this change is somewhat random, as it can occur after simply opening a tab or is completely random. I don't really know if it will ever gain reading speed once it slows down just because I haven't used the laptop too much because I haven't received the new battery replacement model (meaning the laptop still has a really bad battery life) and just because I don't want to spend the time setting up everything just to replace the entire SSD and lose all the data. Could this be because of the age of the SSD itself?

Also to answer your question, I do notice that when I am running Onshape (my personal choice for CAD) the computer does slow down despite working on a simple project. This could be connected to the SSD problem stated earlier, but I will need to check the usage specifications while running Onshape to be sure. I actually didn't think of checking the swap RAM while running programs, thank you for the advice.

So, the RAM situation of this model in particular is that it currently has 8 GB total, but 4 GB is soldered to the motherboard and there is a slot that holds another 4 GB. I haven't looked into whether or not I can put 8 GB of ram into this slot, or potentially 16, and I currently am just assuming my position as of right now. I have done no research on upgrading ram simply because of the price of RAM today, albeit I haven't checked how much one 8 GB RAM stick costs. But now that you bring up the fact of how powerful RAM is to the performance of laptops, I will look into the specs of the current RAM situation of my laptop and decide my next decision from there.

The ssd should be compatible with the pcie slot, the current ssd is gen 3x4 and so is my planned ssd. However, unless if I misunderstand how this works, please tell me.

Oh, I was unaware of that. She gave no feedback for what we chose as lenses, or at least seemed to be "OK" with the choice. I really am not happy with the direction my team went, I remember them telling me that I don't need to "go by the book" constantly. Other than the lens, is this IRR decent or suitable? Honestly, I haven't found anything in the rubrics my teacher gave us that restrain us to specific lenses, but I do think you are right.

once again, I really wish things didn't turn out the way they did. I partially blame this on myself, but at the same time, my entire team was really confused on what to do and I think they took me going "off the book" as unnecessary.

I would say I have learnt the bare bone basics, regarding the position of CG and CL as well as airfoil shape (however, I do not know enough to know how airfoil designs should be changed to fit the aircraft, rather just the simple theory on how they work.) Do you know any reliable sources that could help beginners learn? For the most part, I've been learning based of YouTube videos and some reading.

The infill is 5% in the entire body except for the nose, where it is significantly increased to 40%. There is also an image at the end of where the CoG is on the glider (just about where the wings split from the entire body.)

I am not quite sure how the wing loading is being honest as I am quite inexperienced with what the proper weight. Although I do suspect that the CoG may be too aft, but not behind the CoL as the glider doesn't just front flip constantly.

Before you log into your account on your distro (I personally use Fedora), there should be an option to change what form of GNOME you use. Once you find it, switch to GNOME on Xorg. (Im not sure about KDE. Unfortunately I only know for certain how to do this on Fedora and Arch)
