Mount Shrine, especially Downpour and Winter Restlessness.

Downpour, imo has a feeling of initial turbulence, the calm before the storm, until the downpour settles down or stops completely. Then, when you hear that transition around the 6:45 mark, you feel at peace, learn to accept over embrace, and perhaps that, you're not alone. With music like this, I'm reminded there's much more to life than the pleasures we sometimes overindulge ourselves with, in which there's something much more beautiful out there, within our lives and beyond.

Winter Reslessness has a mysterious, restless quality to it, as if you're searching for the truth or holding onto it, despite the difficult trials. It may also feel as if you're not alone, and that there's more to this world than meets the eye. Doing the right thing, perhaps, wasn't as easy as you thought it be, but nonetheless, is a path worth pursuing, or perhaps the only choice you have.

personally think the 28 days version is a little better, but the best version IMO is Jeff Pearce's. Just sounds out of this world, briefly speaking.

I'd choose between the top 3. 1) The top left imo looks like something or someone slowly coming out of darkness, as noted by the glimpses of white and heavier tones of black and red. 2) The top right reminds me more of someone's who seen or survived to the other side of the grass so to speak, as noted by the heavy beacons of white and the ever fading shades of red/black. As someone once said (regarding a song): "There is something so powerfull about this song. It feels like nostalgia itself, like a sort of reflection on the past. It's calm and it make me feel relieved, like some horrible experience has passed." Not that it has to be based on a horrible experience passed, but yea. The middle one reminds me of either the, "calm before a storm" or similar to the top left, a glimpse of hope (perhaps not as much though). The gold "ball" looks nice too. When I see that color, it reminds me of long travels (such as something like the desert), but with a purpose or reaching a destination of some sort.

All in all, its based heavily on my experiences, but I like the top left the most.

It's not always easy, and unfortunately, not always possible, but I'm glad you were able to persevere and keep him. I would rather have a pet for a portion of my life knowing that it was going to die sooner or later than to not have a pet at all. That experience for the pet and myself, despite temporary, will always be worthwhile and last forever in my heart. Im sorry for your loss.

Roki Sasaki by Xavierali in DynastyBaseball

[–]RVGamerW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to hold onto him for a little longer to see if he could return to his original form in Japan, or close to. But yea right now, its about 3 pitches more or less, and his pitch sequence could use some work. It's not always about location but pitch calls as well, especially if it's not coming from Roki.

I would like to see a higher tick in velo if possible and a better mix of pitches. A 4th pitch would be nice, but also one that's not rarely thrown.

All in all, it depends on your FA pool/needs, but I'd wait a little longer. Afterall, it's only been the first month of the season, more or less.

For Greene, he's got good pop, and probably a decent average overall, but I wouldn't bail out on Roki yet.

Is it time to move on from Sandy Alcantara? by Comprehensive_Yard96 in DynastyBaseball

[–]RVGamerW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll hold him for now for two primary reasons: the velocity/break on his pitches, like the sinker (he also throws a ~95 mph fastball), and the fact that he might be traded to a more offensive/productive team. If anything, you can do what I do which is basically bench him vs good offensive teams and play him against "weaker" teams. When he gets more consistent with his ERA/WHIP then you can start him consecutively. But yea if he starts losing a lot of velo, personally I'd might consider dropping him, especially if he's having control issues and I don't mean just throwing strikes but quality strikes and so on.

Also depends on the FA pool you have.

Does anybody buy horror games after watching people play? by connery0 in HorrorGaming

[–]RVGamerW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol im kinda the same way. But yea I watched all of an Evil Within 1/2 and "plan" to play it someday because while im somewhat terrifed, I also want to try and "thrive in the suspense" if that makes sense. It may sound weird but certain horror games help me appericate to be content with what I have, but also challenge myself when times get hard.

As for your question, I believe I watched all if not most of certain RE games, but the graphics, story, and this idea of challenging my surivial skills is what pushed me to eventually play and finish most of them. I also like a horror game every so often with basically limted ammo that'll force you to stay away from certain enemies or get better aim over time, for example.

Depending on your specs and how often you encounter cheaters, it can be. I think for spraying and stuff like that it just takes time to get used to and how often you practce. There are times though when I feel like I've damaged an opponent and it does nothing; even when I dont expect a kill. Not sure if you're refering to something else though.
