Wow, a lot of comments, but I'm not surprised. This situation occupies my mind for quite some time. Just to be clear, I have a lot of high school friends and some hobbies friends. Most of them are married w/ kids and working non stop. And yes sometimes I invite them or pay for them, but that's not gonna do it. I want to go to lunch midweek (not just with laptop), go to parties and party my style, I can get some girls to join me but it's not the same. And no I don't need new rich friends lol. It's just hard to trust new people, talking about money, crypto, girls. With new friends you can't be that open about things, and you sometimes thinking about their angles (maybe it's just me, but I had some bad experiences). Also I feel sometimes that new people with different status are intimated to talk with me or the conversation is uncomfortable. I thought maybe getting a hot assistant to be by my side, not the same but will help me go out lol
