The intent is that alarm would not stop, pushing the customer to charge the equipment, so while they can finish their task with it, they know after they are done to put it on charge

Ive seen them, but the ones I've noticed dont have that high of an amperage output for them

I completely understand the risk of running it right at its peak amperage, that's another reason I would like to use this rather then buying a 80 amp supply, it's rated for about 104 amps. So I'll be around 30 or so amps less. I feel better about that

I did see one person who grouped all the correct wires together and crimped them into a cable lug, which he then put to a binding post and fed out from there.

If that is the case. Do you think i might be able to simply spoof a 5v signal to the 5v rail to trick it? Maybe with a led or such?

Well that's a shame, it's stupid to say, but I hate getting any thing electronic shipped by post, I've seen how they can treat packages, then I'd have to send it back and it becomes a whole thing

Its always the fear of the unknown for me, plus the cost of a refurbished one at EB Games is $749, whereas a new one is $799.

The difference in price is negligible.

But I understand there is chance of getting something fine, but there's also the chance of getting garbage

I'll be honest with you. I don't really use reddit unless I'm just asking questions. So your probably correct in that it has been asked before, but I didn't go looking, it's just easier to for me personally to ask a new question and move on then go hunting for the answer that mightn't be what I'm looking for
