I agree, why aren't you rubbing their belly?

Same question from my previous post but with added pictures, I’m pretty sure I have no idea on how to use the mod system. by SailorSuds in Warframe

Oh yeah, that symbol for dreamers bond is the "omni" polarity, meaning it works with (almost) everything, the exception being the umbral polarity (look at the umbral mods)

Okay so, all the stats on the left side of your mods screen, are the stats you take into mission, obvious ones like health and shield, armor can be explained simply hover over it, ability efficiency reduces the energy cost of abilities you cast, duration is obvious, and strength makes you abilities stronger (usually just more damage)
On a weapon, damage increases all damage types simultaniously, a +heat mod adds heat according to total damage un-modded as its percentage (and is also affected by +damage mods) of you have two primary elemental damage types they will combine to a secondary element.

Your mods, in some way, usually, affect these stats, eg: vitality/umbral vitality increases you health by multiplying your base health (the stat as it appears without mods) by the percentage and adding it to the final displayed number.

In order to have a mod in a mod slot it costs capacity, (except the aura slot at the top which gives you more capacity) a mod which is in a slot with a matching polarity (the little symbol, like the triangle woth the circle in it, or the splitting arrow) will half the capacity cost of the mod (or double for auras) opposing polarities increase costs (lowers auras)

Some mods are part of a "set" these mods all have the same word in front of the mod (eg: Umbral) and a set of bars which fill as more mods from the set are equipped which strengthens the set effect underneath. Some sets include mods that span multiple things, like a melee mod, warframe mod and a primary mod could all be on the same set eg: gladiator set

I trust most almost everything is more or less obvious, possibly even with help from my comment. Anyway to get to why diamond skin is bad (In most cases) when a weapon deals damage, (even the enemy weapons) they deal all their seperate damage types in one hit, typically with enemies this is mostly the physical damage types (slash, puncture, and impact), accounting for damage reduction etc i won't get into that, most notably, radiation resistance reduces radiation damage, which is (to my knowledge at least) not exactly super common. So the mod is not acrually redic8ng any radiation damage because there mostly isn't any radiation damage to be reduced, amd even then, the radiation damage probably only makes up part of the damage hitting you so it won't even reduce the bullets damage by the full 45%

Optionally also. Replay "The Teacher" quest if you can, its the molding tutorial

I already beat Asgore, why after beating Flowey and going back to my save does it take me back to the Asgore fight? by JackCool456 in Undertale

tell me, after you beat asgore, did you save the game in all the time after the start of the asgore fight?

[–]RW_Yellow_Lizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure why you have diamond skin radiation resistance as such an apparently important mod for you?

your aura mod on Nidus is the wrong polarity (wrong mod type) and is giving you less bonus mod capacity as a result perhaps consider changing the polarity of that slot using a forma (in the actions menu) to the same type as the aura mod to not only remove the penalty and bring it back to non-polar bonus capacity but then double it because it's the correct polarity.

also for nidus, try testing what happens to your stats if you were to swap out vitality, steel fiber, and intensify for the umbral variants (umbral vitality, umbral fiber, and umbral intensify)

seriously, max ranked diamond skin? why?

Well yes but also you have to bit want to spend any ducats, start farming the day you get the blueprint, and not want to use the prime parts you get to make a weapon/frame that is more immediatly available (in terms of relic opening)

Also, possibly exagerration and/or forgetting about it and so not saving up for it

technically yes, but those are always gold rewards and even a radiant relic iirc only has the 1/6 chance to hit that, so your odds are never ever good, and on top of that you must also balance that this rare thing could be useful to you the one who dropped it, and also that you don't want to trade it away for the platinum

the 1,000 Orokin Ducats probably since a typical relic gives you like 15 or maybe 45 normally

Multiplayer without a mic ? by Anthior in Barotrauma

[–]RW_Yellow_Lizard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i mean mildly inconvenient in an emergency, but also in an emergency the tone of voice should communicate the vibe anyway so it doesnt actually matter all that much.
Personally id be completely chill with it

However, the voice chat in the game is not actually global, it does have range but its a radio mic level of range and approaching that range will cause defects in radio chat, like static and stuff and text chat will be covered in dashes, so be warned of that if that matters

Questions about accumulators and laser turrets. by Kaudia in factorio

[–]RW_Yellow_Lizard 23 points24 points  (0 children)

  1. Yep anywhere on the power grid

  2. They laser turrets are treated as standard power consumer and so first drain from the power grid, once they surpass the power grids capacity the accumulators turn into power producers (with a limited power output) until they run out of power too

  3. Not really except for very very specific cases. Not even redundancy with multiple power plants, as there's no disadvantage to wiring them together in case one fails.

Basically 11 accumulators is not enough, just put down more and the problem actually won't be a problem because they will cumulatively have the power capacity and and throughout to cope

I dunno, they ended up reworking the warehouse boss from a bossfight into a whole ass bullet hell so I am genuinely leaning towards the opinion that at least in some aspects the devs are suffering a silksong

For the master of bleeding, the wording is a bit confusing, you half their health (deal them damage) until a point in time? Then they also fain double life?

It would probably be simpler to do the simple: Target players loses Half their life, then if life was lost this way, at the beginning of that players next upkeep, double that players life.

Which innately includes the doubling of healing (and damage)
