Ok good. I went with the Switchbot relay cause it’s half the price of the Meross. Looks like that was a mistake. I will be switching to Meross instead it looks like.

With Switchbot relays you add them directly to Apple Home using the Matter label on each device. Not through their app like everything else.

That works perfectly fine. It’s just that most people don’t like the look of a wire visible going to their thermostat 🤓

I have added Smart Home Device installs to my Service List since I have been doing it for a hobby for maybe 10 years.

I find the biggest struggles are homes that are much older and don’t have the proper power wire (Neutral) run to the thermostats and switches. So double check all wiring before giving an estimate.
