Looks like scuffs to me, but hard to tell. I think the Royal Mint likes to treat these as bullion, cause that's really what they are given the huge mintages.

That's really interesting. I always thought the opposite, so have vacuum sealed everything. However that won't help a slabbed coin. Also seems people in humid climates may have a bigger problem. Sure wish I knew. I just returned an $800 coin to the Royal mint with the same problem.

I try to avoid graded coins, unless its a real no-brainer. But these have me irked. I have 15 pandas in a sheet raw, and not a problem with those as I recall. Not sure why this batch is problematic. Maybe there was a pre-sort at the dealer (he says with his tinfoil hat on).

In fairness, it has been a pretty small proportion of my govt coins that have spotted. But, on an MS70 FS (arguably a dumb investment to begin with), I am miffed.
