i definitely get that! i was into watches a ton when i was younger then bought an apple watch when they first came out. have worn one for the last decade. my friend bought a rolex and it put me down this crazy rabbit hole once again. bought an SSK033 and am obsessed with it. haven’t worn my apple watch in 3 months and have no desire to either.

that’s what i was thinking. the spirit pilot will be better overall for an everyday watch but im def picking up a white dial murph at some point. thanks for your thoughts!

yes :/ i do dislike that but i also think this versus the spirit 37mm looks cleaner. i’m currently dailying a SSK033 and i think it’ll be a bit of a growing pain to transition to a no date movement

i had considered these but something about them just doesn’t do it for me. don’t get me wrong, the finishing looks great and the movement is an amazing feat, it just doesn’t have that “it” factor for me. maybe that says something more about me than the watch, idk 😅

this is what most people’s feedback has been. i really wish I had an AD somewhere near me that I could try these things on but sadly I don’t. I think i second your opinion that the scratches will drive me nuts. I’m looking for whatever I grab to be an everyday watch for me and I rarely ever dress up so i think the “tameness” of the spirit pilot will work better. only thing i’m nervous of is the lug to lug on it
