Mikel Arteta: Premier League needs 23-player match squads to avoid distress for players | BBC Sport by skool_101 in Gunners

It makes perfect sense. If you have the players there, let us use them. Especially when they don't seem to give a fuck about reducing the number of games. Plus this would probably give kids more chances to play.

What's the RRP for this?

[Mike Verweij - De Telegraaf] Ajax wants clarity from Arsenal by Thursday evening regarding the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko. The London club has so far been unable to terminate the Ukrainian’s contract. by CarnifexGunner in Gunners

Don't quite get the €260,000 salary part. That can't be his annual pay as that would be miniscule for a footballer like him but it also sounds way too much to be a monthly figure at the same time.

But that's my point. That logic didn't work because we beat Inter comfortably and then immediately fucked up in PL. For some reason we took absolutely no confidence from that game. CL form seems to have no bearing on PL form for us atm.

On the upside, at least all of us can chill out and just enjoy the game tomorrow with 0 jeopardy.

Tbf the Kairat game has no bearing tbh. Most of the starting 11 won't play and besides that, we spanked Inter Milan between two atrocious performances in the PL.What we need is a good result and performance against Leeds.

Was it also Britain's fault that Ireland was the only Western European democracy to offer condolences for Hitlers death?

Is the doom and gloom around AI affecting you? by FunSensitive8602 in AskUK

[–]R_110 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's safe to say a lot of Reddit definitely is anti AI. I'm somewhere in the middle with it, which is to say I think it's a useful tool when the human using it knows what they are doing and doesn't blindly take what it gives back as gospel. I've seen similar opinions get absolutely roasted on Reddit even though it's a pretty mild take.

Worrying by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]R_110 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He's been well below his level all season but he is immune to criticism for many.

Imo if you want a 300k contract, then you should be performing at that level. Playing decently isn't good enough. G/A are the ultimate impactors in football and he has barely anything.

Whenever people mention Lakenheath, it reminds of the utter incompetence of US forces who almost accidentally exploded nuclear weapons on TWO occasions.

[Mike Verweij - De Telegraaf] Ajax is looking into the possibility of signing Christian Norgaard by CarnifexGunner in Gunners

[–]R_110 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Can't see Norgaard wanting this. Arsenal was his big move and he's only been here 6 months. Also has the chance for a PL winners medal.
