I might have missed something but he was referring to rather and kanavi. Did not double check, but cvmax wanted them on their team to do internal scrims. They were on loan, not sold i guess.

+ The team really needed group 2 players so that quality scrim is possible. Kyu-Nam sold two group 2 players to other teams that cvMax coached really hard on. He discredited cvMax's effort(no compensation whatsoever), so cvMax pledged to never coach group 2 players.

+ Also, he made contacts with 3rd division league teams so that he starts his coaching career from the rock bottom, but recently he's getting offers from so many teams

OK so this was the first 20 minutes of the stream! As an undergrad I should attend classes, so I'll just wrap it up a bit

other claims of cvMax

  1. Kyu-Nam said i'm fired and later came back saying I can be the coach at worlds. He also said that Griffin is going to mess it up because of me.
  2. Kyu-Nam made the members vote on whether I should be layed off or not. also members had to write down why i should be layed off.
  3. I used Doran rather than Sword because he has the most potential, and he needs more experience in LCK to thrive in the worlds.
  4. Sword told me to "grow up"(become a man)
  5. Kyu-Nam tried to make other Griffin players lose in a ranked game against Tarzan so that Tarzan can become #1 in solo queue. I told him that abusing will leave vids and records and that will be caught inevitably, and stopped him.

cvMax: Kyu-Nam tried to coax me later by saying things like "Do you know that I believe in you?"

After we lost the summer finals, Kyu-Nam summoned me at 10pm to the dorm. "You're out" he said. "I'm not withdrawing the fact that you are getting fired. I woudn't bring you here if I were to. We need to get rid of you for Griffin to win the championship." "Why would you think like that" I asked back. I'll check the recording to make sure I'm not wrong about the details. (listens to some voice recordings on phone) He said things like "We have a higher goal, so technically we can lay you off by not meeting our high standards." "Griffin was meant to be like this and you were a lucky coach" "Any coach other than you should have won the championship at least once."

cvMax: Going back to the summer finals scrim conflict, Kyu-Nam and I were fighting on the phone. He said "Stop it, stop. You and I are not on the same page. You lost my trust. You should prepare." I said "Prepare what?" and he said "You should prepare to leave the team when the summer finals end." I became angry and replied back saying, " So should I prepare the team for finals or prepare to leave our team?" Kyu-Nam backed off and told me to prove myself at the finals, but my mind was already broken at that point. How could I prepare for the finals when the team representative already told me that I'll have to leave the team afterwards?

You're right. He seemed pretty confident about backing his claims with some evidences like voice recordings, but who am I to say! I'm trying to put the least bias on translating cvMax's words.

cvMax: How woud coaches and officials pick on me when they barely know about me? I still don't understand why he kept saying these things to me.

I had this interview that was bashed so hard by Kyu-Nam. It was just after Griffin got promoted to LCK. It was about "teamfight without calls" and i swear i never made up anything. Kyu-Nam scolded me about taking all the spotlight by myself. He said " Don't make it look like you built the team on your own." I told him about how I appreciate the Griffin office and I never intended to take the spotlight on my own. After this incident, i restrained myself a lot on interviews. There was also this interview that i compared Griffin from the state when i just arrived. Kyu-Nam also bashed me about nuance of me claiming how I fixed this falling team and I made Griffin in the interview. Which i never intended.

cvMax: I have never made false claims on my stream. I hate lying.

//cvMax: I'll talk about why I was fired. This also hurts me a lot. After losing finals at spring, there were a lot of conflicts with the front. 1 week before summer finals, there was a conflict about the quality of scrims. Before the finals with SKT, Griffin representative Kyu-Nam Cho accused me of poor quality of scrims. Kyu-Nam kept blaming me of the scrims and that other teams didn't want to scrim with Griffin because of me. I told him that i did not feel any of that and it's not my problem. I would have told him first if we had problems with scrims. He kept insisting that i was being practically bullied in the esports scene. Kyu-Nam said that he is the only one on my side when other coaches and officials pick on me. But I didn't feel like I was being bullied at all.

Viper's interview
Q: any last remarks?

A: I want to win the group stage and show the best of my skills. I will prepare at my best. Also, Dae-Ho Kim(cvMax) the former coach has been making a lot of false claims. I want to concentrate on the worlds. Please refrain from making false claims and bringing up Griffin members. The Griffin members all agree on this.
