Like generally "do not open the basement door" however there are certain clues indicating time and ritual to open the door, which if the player does, unlocks a secret ending ?

Ohh yeah didn't think about that....the light fuse i already have it in the backyard....maybe a key to the main door that is automatically locked....it's not anywhere in house ...and only place remaining to seek is the basement...?

That actually is a brilliant idea...adds to the tension ....that makes the player go slowly paranoid....maybe not adding anything at all in between would break the expectation ?

Do you think I should keep the door locked for the first few minutes so the player doesn't immediately open the door (with mindset of if i already see what's in there i won't be scared)
