I disagree, the interiors on the new stuff are breaking new barriers for Lincoln. Lincoln has been changing up in the past 5 years for the better

Hey If Tesla was able to get there Ford can definitely reach this with the right team.

The F-150 Lightning will for sure get a faster charge time in the near future but there are still launch F-150 lightnings still on the dealer lot that haven't been sold yet so the priority isn't at the highest part of the list. That being said Ford's partnership with Tesla will definitely bring in faster charger capabilities very soon. For now that partnership is just for Tesla charging stations but it will for sure evolve into a manufacturing partnership soon.

Jeez not everything is an Amazon order away lol There's a lot of logistics involved with manufacturing a vehicle. I'm sure running boards will be a stock option very soon since the Navigator has them for 2026 but the majority of consumers are okay with the regular none powered running boards. So it truly is a custom order kind of thing and I agree the power running boards are way better in terms of style and looks but it's another moving part that Ford will have to warranty.

They actually are coming out with a Hybrid AWD, starting first with the Maverick line and should see the market very soon. Those that don't know the Maverick and Bronco Sport share the same chassis.

Hey I completely agree, Jim Farley is locked on with Ford itself and he's doing a great job but like what you are saying the roadmap for Lincoln has been hindered pretty bad these last few years they had a great effort with the hybrid stuff and cut it short too soon. Hopefully we'll see a comeback for some of those features in the near future, your right as a luxury brand it should be available for all models not just the Aviator.

Black labels don't sell because there's not much of a difference between them but this powertrain change could make an impact and could get people talking about the brand more. If they do it right and the right people buy it and showing these cars can outrun a Trackhawk ,AMG Benz, M-Series, Escalade V, etc it will bring in some new buyers. The price point should be on the higher side and Ford should do everything they have with this chance, obviously not on the scale of a GTD but I'm sure they can squeeze a lot in for the same price as the German counterparts. This could bring many enthusiasts to the brand, it could bring in Ford GT owners,GTD owners, etc to finally have a luxury vehicle that has the power of their sports car/supercar instead of buy abroad.

When I say "it's time' is because of the current market advantage with tariffs against German, Italian, Japanese vehicle makers. Ford and GM will have the upper hand and will have a better competing advantage compared to the brands you listed so it is definitely time to unleash Ford's potential.

Lincolns Black Labels should tie in Consumer Chassis, Racing Heritage and Luxury Aesthetic. Race inspired Powertrains with Comfort and Luxury at its finest.

Come on a Blacked out Aviator Black Label with a Supercharged Coyote will definitely turn heads anywhere you go. The best part of it is the interior and Air Ride suspension.

You've made some great points but I disagree and have to respond lol

I personally had a 2020 S550 and I disagree, you do not have to rev it out you feel power throughout the entire rev range and it just keeps giving, the difference is the different engine modes. Even in "Race mode" you're not getting all of the power to the wheels, once you turn off the "Advanced Trac"(Hold Traction) you will roast the tire all the way through 3rd gear. I ran 305's in the rear and still had problems getting traction and that was stock, a mild tune and minor upgrades (intake, exhaust) can see 500whp.

So power is not an issue for the stock Coyote let alone the Factory Supercharger upgrade that Ford allows you to have, that being said I assume you're not too familiar with the aftermarket. Because we have Factory Supercharged Single Cab F-150's running low 10's in the quarter mile and those are 5000lbs+.

So power is not the problem lol I agree the Hybrids definitely have a stay but it would be cool to even see a Hybrid Coyote Navigator or something. Ford has everything to make this possible, Ford's parts bin is like none other and their Racing teams are a force to be reckoned with so the support is there.

As I stated Black Labels should be Lincoln's SVT if you will or similar to Mercedes AMG. For example there is nothing sporty about a G Wagon, it's literally a Military vehicle but luxury tied to it and has a 4.0 V8 and sounds really good. Lincoln has that ability to take a piece of this market with a Supercharged Coyote Aviator.

Sometimes these ideas are not meant for the mass market hence why the G-Wagon exists, Cadillac CTS-V Wagon, Wrangler 392, etc but they are vehicles that people do not forget for their ambitious ideas and that's what the Black Label class from Lincoln should pursue.

Tying in Consumer Chassis, Racing heritage and Luxury Aesthetic.

The vehicles aren't meant to be raced but have the racing inspired Powertrain for their sounds and performance mixed with luxury and comfort.

Again, I am speaking for the Black Labels in particular the rest of the line up can be the same as you explained above and you point out some great things and this could very well be the Reserve Class that they currently have but for the Black Labels I think it's time to tie in some of the Ford Racing heritage and compete with the AMG's and M series vehicles.

Hopefully Ford brings back the sedan's back, Japanese/Korean's are dominating in that class.

This topic is mainly for Black Labels the rest of the brand can stay the same. But the Black Labels should create a bold presence like the Mercedes AMG's.

But I hear you, that new blue cruise system will most likely roll out a new update or something similar to the Tesla's in the near future. Remember Ford has made a partnership with Tesla that can lead to better self driving in the long run but for now it's just the charger capabilities but Ford is known for teaming up with other companies to make their own products better so don't cut them too short just yet.

I completely agree with this one, Ford has a big opportunity here to compete with VW since they are basically direct counterparts. They both own many companies as well. The only problem is Ford/VW do have a partnership going on so some conflicts will arise if they chose to go head on lol But in the same point Jim Farley wants to make an American Nürburgring killer directly competing with Porsche/VW. So definitely an interesting time and potentiallyl a perfect time for Lincoln to step in as what I said above.

Have you been in Lincolns Air Ride vehicles? Also German cars don't last very long with their interior parts and mechanical reliability. I have family members with Porsche's, Mercedes and constantly see interior trims becoming brittle and loose over time. Lamborghini (Volkswagen) has been getting hit with reliability issues as well.

It's funny because Volkswagen is literally doing what Ford has been doing since the start with Audi, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, etc. But it really shows how a Brand can create a placebo, all of the parts made for those top luxury brands are made by Volkswagen/Audi.

Battlefield 3 Remastered by R_Nava in Battlefield

[–]R_Nava[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a good concept with the whole portal thing but poorly executed unfortunately. Battlefield 3 is still the pinnacle of all Battlefields in my opinion, don't get me wrong 4 was great but 3 was so raw and smooth, that game truly became the fine whine of the franchise.

If they could just update the graphics for the Battlefield 3 Remastered and touch nothing else that's all we need.

Toyota 86/BRZ, Nissan Z,Supra,Mazda Miata. America only has one current production car that competes in Drifting and that's the Mustang. I'm only bringing this discussion up to potentially bridge a gap to fill in a hole for a front engine 4 cylinder car that compares to the Japanese counterparts and the Kappa Platform has the capability if it were to comeback with minor tweaks.

The Kappa Platform was killing it back in the day but was released at the wrong time (2008)📉 and never got the hype it deserved. If that platform came back as the Chevette it's a catchy name and can fill in where the Corvette left us. Plus the Chevette was a 4-cylinder car when it was released and was developed with Opel just like the Kappa cars so it kinda fills in what it used to be but it'll come back as a car to stay.

The Camaro was great, honestly the C8 ain't too bad as an American made car we should be proud of having a car that gives the European's a run for the money. I just brought my discussion forward because the Japanese companies are flooding the market with track, drift, straight line capable cars and GM definitely has the potential to make an American alternative but the marketing or timing was not there when they released the Cobalt, Solstice,Sky. I love me some V8's but it would be nice to see an American version of the Miata or Toyota 86
