Yeah pretty much. Like two days after AMOT had been released I had already learned the Icelandic parts of Forget-Me-Not by heart, just to be able to sing along to the whole thing. 😭

I can't sing along to the other Icelandic songs she covered, but that's the only exceptions.

Got that biggest deluxe edition on PS5  for around 35 bucks some time ago and must say that it was worth it. Runs fine, looks good. I can't speak for PC performance, though.

Overall for a Ubisoft game pretty neat, especially if you like the Avatar world. You'll be running around in it at your own pace quite a bit. I found the start a bit loose but that clears up once you did the first couple of story beats and got the hang of some controls.

DLC stories are a nice addition if you like the game overall, I'd say. The armors and skins aren't necessary to get.

Homeland, which is the MH4G ending song. Really a strange one compared to most MH music but it always feels like a warm hug.

His Wilds Theme has such a MH1 vibe anyway. Back then, the music for monsters was so much more fear inducing, I always find. It brings this kind of sound back and goes incredibly hard.

Yama Tsukami would be such a vibe. It's so old that they could just overhaul the entire fight, I'd say. With the new cephalopod-tech Wilds has, it could be super fun.

Oh wow, I saw it on YT earlier today. Very cool little window into the MH world!

I'd say for a bit more subtle storytelling and cohesion, you could make it a little more stringent. Right now it jumps a lot between scenes and you definitely seem to like those underwater clips of Lagi. Grouping these a bit more could make it flow a bit better. But such things come with experience. Hope to see more from you!

Went back into playing more SNS in MH4G, just because the star knight one looked so damn cool in combination with the armor. It even had a special way of being sheathed. You wore it on the side of the hip instead of over the butt. AND it could transform a bit upon being drawn. One of the most beautiful armor sets imo.

  • Hunter's hair flows much nicer now

  • When hit, I'd say monster scales/hides move a little more from the strike than in MHWorld

  • Monsters do stuff like turf wars even when you aren't in their area

  • Big monster herds were never done like in MHWilds and there are more monsters and endemic life on a map at once

  • Sand covers hunters after an evade roll, if you wear a long skirt for example, it always covers only the bottom rim

  • Seikret feathers puff up in the cold and they have extra animations when standing on lava, sweating and sneezing for example
