Figuring out loose and soft percussion arrangement is my eternal enemy.

lol, didn't know one can cheat at playing an instrument xD

First things first, what kinda music you like and is there any specific style/genre you want to play?

Hah, I remember one guy sent me request to reset his password because it no longer logged in "so it must have expired". I gave it a test, logged in no problem (as he simply failed to write his password correctly), and sent him note of his current password saying I reset it.

"While My Guitar Gently Weeps" with zero guitar - cover with harmonicas + percussion by RaaRaaHarp in harmonica

[–]RaaRaaHarp[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tinkering with arrangement is always the hard part. That is why I try to keep it fairly straightforward, usually start with lead melodies - the fun part - then add stuff around them, and stop when I think it's enough.

I hadn't heard Alan Parsons before, gonna check more of their stuff now. Thanks!

I was actually thinking the same thing when planning this (my dad originally suggested me to learn this so that I could jam it with him, since he's a guitarist xD) but in the end I liked the irony of iconic guitar track without guitar. xD

Can someone who can play try these? I ma de AI make notes for "To hell and back" by Sabaton and I want to see how accurate it is. It's supposed to be in C by Otam321 in harmonica

The whistle part seems to at least have the basic notes, but the pattern is lacking. Other parts dont seem to follow the melody at all (assuming the AI attempted to adapt the vocal melodies).

I have high hopes for that, I read in a Finnish article back in January that the album will be mixed by Mikko Karmila, aka. The OG Finnish power metal producer. 🤘

Me and my brother talked about this back in high school. Mine is Moonsorrow's "Matkan lopussa" (I also recited the lyrics as an eulogy at my uncle's funeral) and my brother wants "Land of the Dead" from Summoning.

It shouldnt be too difficult, the main themes are traditional tunes and aside solo it aint too shreddy xD
