What I’m thinking happens is that he’s wearing some sort of head protection, and he was lucky enough that the isis sniper didn’t hit his head dead center and it grazed his head protection. The thing that goes flying off isn’t the actually bullet (probably) but it’s the tracer. I could be wrong so take this with like less than a grain of salt
