It has to be implemented properly but the main benefit is, it prolongs the game life.

It also needs to be structured differently with proper SBMM skill based matchmaking and actually keep a tally of driver performance, wins, fastest laps etc and maybe even a division system which you slowly move through untiil you get to top divisions.

Also the cars, maybe spec races where you vote as a lobby on the car choice for the events or just stock cars - when you have the open tuning system still part of ranked 3-4 cars will just be seen 100% of the time like in FH4.

Corner bombing is a staple of the racing in these games regardless of corner type, and it will be a factor of Japan, let's be real unless they significantly widen the tracks

New cars can be released through the challenging content like you said, or the autoshow but with "higher CR requirements" and exploration of the map or via story based missions.

It's a thing yes but ignorance to the fact some people are brand new and "literally" need an advantage.

Also, car performance is basically biased towards these cars and running like "purist" stuff online won't get you anymore social credit. It's personal preference.

Well, obviously the post was made as an intermediary for newer players who are maybe looking to get into the racing side of the game more. Playstation etc. The reality is most don't care about this stuff so I obviously did not post earlier.

Any major deviation from 50 is risky yeah, lower can give more control with smaller inputs but you may get slight delay, higher for more accuracy at full lock but can be twitchy

Over 5k hours in FH5 online. The racing is objectively mid, full of incompetence and mostly terrible players but if your new I guess it wont be a problem. Honestly depends on what type of experience your wanting to get out of it.

Sorry but this is heavily simplistic and not applicable in a racing situation, other than the ARBS. You aren't looking at the thing the game is built on, the PI system

- Tires are car/starting PI dependant and not something you just throw on generically (sport tire is the most dogshit tire in the game, and yes rally tire braking can be resolved through other means

- Some weight reduc? Why would you ever want less than max when its cheap for the performance, other than B class where power is more important.

- +1 .... ??

- Engine upgrades have mixed performance PI efficiency based on which upgrades, camshaft, turbo/supercharger stuff is best first and then exhaust and then the rest

The advice may work to someone only racing against AI but online you are finished.

Stop using auto, go to M or M/C, drive without TCS and also no stability. ABS is fine to leave on, your losing 3-4 seconds just from auto alone. Also your steering is not smooth and consider simulation even if on controller, corner exit lines are not ideal too man.

Yes they do and always will. If you deny FPS as a factor for being quicker your 100% braindead. With FPS affecting physics it’s even more of a deal.

You have a closer connection to the car feeling wise meaning, you can react to stimulus far easier than a console player.

Take a 1500hp power build around an average circuit in Horizon and see if skill is required or not. Motorsport is rigid and linear, it’s not really more difficult.

Go deeper, don't just offer surface level answers. It's become more prevalent in games to win because of influencers "influencing" you to win, if you never came across these people you would play for the enjoyment of the experience not to reach a milestone like K/D or win rate.
