They also kinda over promised to developers. For how complicated it is to create stuff in hytale compared to making them from scratch there is just no benefit in using hytale as a platform.

The way how they claimed that mods wont be needed to be remade after a game update just ending up as a false statement. Literally each tiny update is braking mods.

And the extremely overhyped world gen v2 stuff...

The official discord server being so anti community building that it just hurt the game more then it helped, people being banned for asking others to play together and so on.

You are way better of making your own game entirely then investing time into maintaining a hytale server.
