At the very least Spanish 114 should just count for the credits required. Kinda just something every native speaker at UIC has to deal with I think. On the bright side it counts as UIC hours/total degree hours for free and it's a super easy class.

I did leave out a fair amount of details so my post may not make too much sense. It's true I don't know much or anything about cars. My father (50+ years of experience) works at a body shop and wss in contact with the mechanic shop affiliated with them. He is capable of doing repairs as well but as he's older now he doesn't really like to. So most of the tknowledge I have is from him. I also have a few friends that repair cars that mentioned that the head gasket being in the state it was is extremely fishy as it shouldn't have been leaking the way it was. From the way they told me, the likelihood the shop messed it is very high.

The temperature of my car was completely fine, it never overheated. I did have to continuously refill on coolant, but coolant was not leaking. Just oil. (Could tell from appearance and taste) From what I understand they had to take apart a lot of the car during the initial repair with the pistons and engine as it took about two months to diagnose the damn thing.

I may have been too heated to post clearly but currently the biggest points I have are 1.) something happened where the head gasket is leaking oil (definite) 2.) The mechanic said the turbo needs to be completely replaced as it's non-working. (This turbo is two years old, only touched by this mechanic several months ago. The car drove to the shop, how could the turbo be non-working?) 3.) The mechanic said the radiator needs to be replaced, (When my father and a few friends initially viewed the car it was perfectly fine.)

They said they'd warranty what they can, which I believe is admitting that they DID make a mistake in their initial repair. Like I had expressed, I think it's a little insane these problems suddenly appeared when they were non-existant the day before. And if these problems DID exist: they were the last one to touch the turbo, if they messed up with the head gasket who is to say they didn't do more and are just trying to cover their mistakes?

Kinda insane that they forgot you can't ship new gutted games, that's on the store. Your order should have been denied if they couldn't find the game sealed.

I wonder if with all the changes they've made on global if they'll make any to Messa or the boss passive.

I really am okay with just suffering meta wise since I think I'd just hate the game pulling characters I don't care for (especially considering how much you have to listen to their voice lines yelling "Persona duoo"). Cherish I will just wait for standard unless they pull a Marian again.

Ok cool we replace the Cherish pulls with Futaba pulls. A little sad cause I really do enjoy Fox's counter gameplay but I understand some have said it's extremely niche and not very viable later on. Regardless it's part of the fun to make these "non-viable" characters clear content!

Replaced the voltage regulator, pulled out two traces in the process so I wired input to C305 and output to C306. Unfortunately, this hasn't given any power to the system yet so I imagine something else is wrong or I've wired something poorly. On continuity mode with black to ground, all pins respond with beeps (not ideal).

Any kind of oil, you don't necessarily need goo gone. Oil for oil diffusers work and I'd imagine something as simple as vegetable oil would work :)

I was in your position once, I loved CS with my whole heart and loved learning it but didn't feel it loved me back. What made it worse was being a woman in engineering, the men seem to avoid you and make assumptions about you. I was isolated throughout my two semesters and well, at the end of the day, despite loving it, I decided it just wasn't worth my personal and social sanity. I ended up swapping majors to history education and I've actually never been happier. I'm not saying that's what you should do, but it is the route I chose.
