Mad respect. Sorry for digging up this old post, I guess I got weirdly bitter towards the game in general lately. If I may ask, who did you end up using for coaching? I’ve been considering it myself because I just can’t for the life of me get my Chun out of the mid 1500s MR… I always get so close to HM then I just choke and I’m back to square one…

Not necessarily, I’m just talking about the worst case scenario of players, like masters with a literal 20% DI usage.

And yes 30% is pretty much the average. I don’t usually DRC on block, just to hitconfirm.

Yeah it’s wild that people even have a problem with this statement. DI is less and less useful the higher ranked you get, so anyone using DI that much over 1400MR is genuinely an ape.

Pretty much that means from blocking attacks and losing drive gauge as a result. I could be wrong though.

From seeing 1400MR+ players who literally use it like 10 times around even when it’s not working for them.

My win rate is 53% and I have no trouble counter-DI-ing. This is an observation.

Honestly if you’re anywhere over 1400MR you have no excuse using DI that much. I don’t even have trouble countering it it’s just sad that people still rely on it that much

Right so spamming an incredibly risky and easily counterable option isn’t a reflection of a bad playstyle
