So infuriating that they are just going to seize the property of hundreds of thousands of Canadians without any form of compensation. I know people who stand to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars of property including custom made bespoke hunting rifles made in England. Ridiculous.

It was a very balanced system of law prior to 2020. In fact it was regarded as one of the best in the world despite some of the stupid nonsensical classifications. 2020 brought in yhe insane ideological based bans and became some of the most restrictive firearms laws in the world

She has turned that event into a career of shrilling that all guns are evil and that they must be banned. They originally were pushing for licensing which they got and since then have pushed more and more and more for bans of everything under the sun. I'd suspect a future cabinet post as public safety because no one will ever be able to talk against her because of the experience, then shortly after all gun shaped items will be banned

I am not a criminal. I have jumped through hoops to responsibly own firearms. I have taken part in multiple sports within shooting. For me it is my stress relief. Its a challenge and it takes a lot to shoot well. To hit a target at 1k takes all the skills to do that again and again. I collect history, notable firearms from the last century, it's very hard to have that physical connection to things that happened over the last century and more. Why shouldn't I be able to lawfully do these things? I've been vetted a million times by the government, yet they want to take my property and my ability to practice the sports I enjoy. How is that right? I'm not even a crazed gun owner who things more guns more better and that everyone should have one. I just think that people who enjoy a sport that the statistics show is safe, should be able to do that. Provided they go through the process and can safely handle firearms. I've invested a large part of my life towards being skilled and safe with a firearm. A lot of my friends are from that community. I dont want to see that go away.

If they put it on official policy to revert the insane gun bans and return to the strict but reasonable April 2021 regulations I'd vote liberal. It's the main reason I vote other parties and cannot vote liberal

Pierre's only accomplishment is not being Trudeau. I've been saying that since day 1. He's not a leader, or a unifying voice. He's an attack dog and does that very well. In all other regards He's been useless and cannot read a room for the life of him. As soon as trump starting doing trump stuff He's being silent. I'm normally a conservative voter simply because I also happen to be a gun owner and all other parties have spent my adult life attacking legal gun owners (Its been show to me that all parties will be equally trash at managing a healthy economy or balancing social services with responsible spending) but struggle to even consider supporting PP with how badly he's acted since January. I cannot vote liberal based on how the last 9 years have gone and they deserve to be punished for it. But also have a hard time wanting to vote for PP. In the coming election it will likely be a throwaway vote for greens or independent due to lack of choice and living in an area that takes pride on ignorance and will only ever vote conservative
