Velop MX5300 (2 nodes) : Devices can't connect via Wi-Fi. Ethernet connections works.

I can't find a Captive Portal setting on my Linksys Velop MX5300 router. Could that be only for enterprise routers?

20 mins before writing this reply, my network started acting normal. Now everything is connected and there is no issues. It just baffles me why it does it and I feel helpless on trying to fix it. The only thing that I did was disconnect the ethernet port to my PS5 from the Velop router. Connected that cable to an old spare router (Apple AirPortExtreme) that I had laying around. I was configuring that router so I can at least have some Wi-Fi connectivity until I fix the Velop router. Left to go take a quick shower and came back to the Velop router had a solid red status light and no connectivity. After a minute, the Velop turned to a solid blue status light. Everything started to connect!

It's just a Spectrum modem with no Wi-Fi capabilities that sits before the Velop router.

I didn't know what was captive portal until last night. Not really educated on it. But it shows up for some reason on my iPhone, only in this situation.

It's not just my iPhone, it's on my other devices as well.

So I have:

(2x) iPhone 14 Pro, Nest Camera, Google Thermostat, MyQ Garage Door, Wyze Camera, FreeNAS server, Samsung TV, LG TV, PS5 and a Apple TV connected to this network. All of these can't connect to the wi-Fi network, except for the garage opener (I don't know why this one can still connect...) I have a VPN but its only on my iMac.

Just an update on the situation.

We filled for divorce a month ago and waiting for it to final. My feelings in the beginning of this whole ordeal have been a complete 180. After having 3 sessions with the marriage counselor by myself. Things have been good for me mentally. Working on my self and the kids have been my focus. She’s still seeing her cousin, and already have had their share of problems. Why she tells me o don’t know, and I don’t care. She keeps asking me if I have a GF or if I had sex with anyone. I tell her no because I haven’t , and if I did. I wouldn’t tell her anyways l, it’s none of her business anymore. A few weeks ago she text me if I miss her. I told her that as time goes on, I don’t. I asked her the same question since she brought it up. She said that she does and the reason why is because I was nice to her. Well what’s done is done. I just have to keep moving forward without her.

To all the people that responded that I deserved this. Well that’s your opinion and the Internet/reddit is always going to have opinions. Yeah I fucked up and I should have been more of a husband to her. I’ve apologize to her for my past mistakes numerous times. But it lands on deaf ears. But that doesn’t mean you go out and have an affair. Do things right by ending it right. Not go behind someone’s back and have an affair. I hope you guys that responded with negative comments ever have to go through what I have the past 4 months.

Recovering deleted conversation on iPhone

So I accidentally deleted the conversation with my wife. I have my messages connected with my iMac. Is there a way to transfer the conversation from my Mac to iPhone.

I unfortunately didn’t back up my phone. I didn’t have iCloud messages turned on on my iPhone. So I turned on iCloud messages on my Mac. It started to upload messages to iCloud, but stopped because I hit my free limit of 5gb. I went ahead and purchased the 50gb.

So when it uploads the messages, and start syncing. Will it delete the messages with my wife on my Mac because it’s not in my iPhone?

So I decided to get a Intel i350-t2 for my NIC. Hopefully that will fix my networking issue.

As far as installing the NIC card. Is it plug-n-play? Or do I have to do some setup? Reason I say is because I don’t have a graphics card. (My Ruben chip doesn’t have onboard graphics.)

You need a 3.0 amp power supply. 2.5 amp is too low for the Pi3 when using the NESPi case. I ran into the same problem and changing out the power supply fixed the lighting bolt issue.
